Okay, we’re joining Jimmy in the workshop today. Uh, what have you got on? So, I’ve got a nice Pinterella dogma build today. Um, and then, yeah, in a lovely white pearlescent color. Yeah, it’s shining in the workshop here. Could you just run us through the spec, Jimmy? So, the customer’s gone for full uh durase build um in a little bit more of a climbing setup. So, 5034 and then 1134 cassette. Uh we’ve gone for the ever defendable Continental 5000 tubeless tires. We’ll be putting silk sealant in there, frames and gears, uh outfront mount, tealia saddle, um supercas bar tape, and then obviously one of the big big features, the MV SCS 4.5 wheels. Yeah, very nice. Very nice. Uh what are you most looking forward to about this build? I think it’s going to be pretty light one, but then also I think it’s also that kind of balance between light with it being pretty much top spec to also with the slightly deeper wheels. It’s going to be a pretty all round bike. So, I think it’s going to look pretty cool, but it’s also going to be uh probably one of the more allrounded bikes we build in a sense of it’ll be good on the climb, it’s going to be good to send in, it’s going to be good on the flat as well. [Music] [Music] Okay, so just finished the wheel setup, Jimmy. Got the bike in the stand now. What’s next? Yeah, so I always like to set up the wheels first. I don’t know why. It’s just always my thing. Uh, so now the bike’s in the stand, it starts to come together. So, what I’d normally do in this aspect now is I will check the fit measurements and I will basically build it now as like a rolling chassis. So, I’ll kind of put the wheels in, put the fork and the headset in, and then I will measure it sort of to the customer’s position. We’ll get the saddle height all done with the saddle on. Um, and then once I’m happy with position, then I’ll take wheels back out, fork back out, everything like that. And then we’ll plum in the brakes and go from there. Amazing. Let’s go. Cool. So, we’ve put the fit measurements on the bike now. So, it is to the customers um how he likes it. Uh, and then we have now fitted sort of plumbed in the brake hoses. Uh, the gear cables and the battery is now inside the frame. What I’m gonna do now is I’m gonna spin the bike round, pop it on charge. Um, and then we’re going to start doing some of the smaller bits like start to fit the bottom bracket and other bits while it’s on charge cuz modern day bikes with electronic gears, you kind of need it charged when you come to the end when you need to set up the gears and stuff like that. So, yeah. Now, I’m going to flip it around, charge it, and then we’ll carry on. Nice. Cool. [Music] feel. [Music] Hey [Music] [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] Hey. [Music] Hey. Hey. So, uh, we just I think we just finished the DR2 update while I was sort of plumbing in the brakes. Um, and then yeah, so now we’re just going to give them a quick bleed. Um, cuz they they feel pretty good, but yeah, we could just just there’s a a little bit of air in the system from connecting them all up. And then uh it’s a case of spin the bike round, then set up the gears. Um and then it’s little things like bar tape, bottle cages, garment mount, and then uh it’s pretty much done. So we’re we’re you know an hour away maybe from the finish. So like 80% done. Yeah, 80% done. Everything’s connected now. So you you know, you could ride it down the street if I put a chain on it. And some wheels. Yeah. And some wheels. But then um yeah, once we’ve sort of connected this this these last little bits, it should be done soon now. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. First thing uh first thing I always set the limits just in case cuz we don’t want to damage these lovely MD spokes. Um and then it’s more trying to you’ll see which way it shifts easier than the other way. You just in a sense want to even them out. But I’ll plug it into the I’ll plug it into the computer into the laptop to do that in a second. But Yeah, it’s not far off to be fair. [Music] Hey, [Music] hey, hey. [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] So, we all done now, Jimmy? Pretty much. Yeah. I’m going to run it all uh run a torque wrench over the whole bike now before give the customer the bike and just do some last little bits. But I think we’re going to do a YouTube weight, which is what I class as a YouTube weight, which is no bottle cages, no garmin mount, no pedals, because no one would ever post a bike with them on it really. Um, so yeah, let’s let’s see what she weighs. 6.88. Very nice. Not bad for some deep deep wheels. Okay, so what have we got left to do now? Cool. So, just uh bottle cages um which we have the customer has gone for some um what are they called? Super. Supercars. That’s the budget. So, super bottle cages. Then we got frames and gear uh out front mount durace pedals. Um and then it’s yeah, just run a torque wrench over. Uh I’ve left a little bit of um one spacer on top. Uh like to do that a lot of time with these sort of expensive builds. Let the customer go away. Although it’s got the fit measurements on. Let them go away, ride it for a little bit. Uh and then on our we offer a four to six week free safety check. So if he’s happy and he wants me to chop it, I’ll kind of chop that 10 mil off when he when he brings it back. Today’s a Dogma X build.
