More riders trying to get across 60 km an hour as they just try and cruise away off the front of this palaton. Good move by Quinn Simmons this afternoon. Simmons takes the 10. Gmai now starts to kick and it looks like actually Quinn Simmons won’t take the 10. Milan takes the 10. Gay takes the nine. Now there’s a big change at the front of this race as you see on the right hand side. Team of Vizma have arrived and Euan Costu he wants the points at the top. Euan Costu takes the first climb of the day. [Applause] We wait to find out who wins on the Mod Britan. These riders have ridden flat out from San Marlo. They have not relented at all today. There’s Ben Healey, yesterday’s stage winner. Oh crash crash crash in the pelaton. Loads of riders are down. Healey hits the deck. That was a big big crash. Dunar is down as well just as they were riding in the side. Arda is down as well on the left hand side. Two riders from Bahrain looking at the and Jiao Ala also down here for the Bahrain victorious team is Jack H. You can never G Martan is down as well. It doesn’t seem to be any cars. There was a barrage with this. So let’s look on the right. Oh big touch on the right. Well looks so many riders hit the deck. Look at Eddie Dumbar locks it up and goes sideways. Xiao made ends up in the grass. Another rider on the right hand side. Yeah, I think that might have been Martan because we can Oh no, Martan’s underneath the bikes there. Costu is down as well having been in the breakaway. And there’s also another that’s horrible. A lot of hype around this stage. Hundreds of thousands of crowds. Team Wins is bringing Tagatra back to the front. Remco glued to the wheel. He can’t go with this acceleration. New yellow jersey tonight. Pagatcha starts the acceleration already. And look at Remco. He’s just sat down and he’s waiting. Pagatcha starts to move again. Remco Apollo checks. They all look across and Remco checks to see whereas Fergard is. It is the top three. Wenger on the back. Remco Napoleon may have made a little mistake here in going to the front. And why did he do that? And it gets a lot easier at this point. So it is Remco Apollo, Wengerard, Pagacha, Vulcan, Jorgensson, Narvves also in their Oscar on Lee. Remco Apollo is dicing a little bit. Dances out the saddle. Narves is moving up to try and put this race in the hands of Tad Paga. 800 m of racing to go. Nve start remco a napole slots in vengerard wants to ruin the morale of pagatcha jorgensson gets ready on is there felix gal it’s going to be a bunch sprint of the climbers is there how many times has tatty pagatcha looked over his shoulder he’s just waiting for the strike here he goes now this is the sprint pagatcha startard is going to go with him butcher is just powering away is writing the wheel. Yonas Fergard, Ti Pagacha, but it’s the world champion on the M de Britan ahead of Yonas Fergard. And a moment now for the yellow jersey, Matthew Vanderpool. He’s won here before, but yesterday killed the legs. He said he was pretty exhausted this morning. He’s been in the front group to the bottom of the climb. He’s been a great yellow jersey. Vanderpool crosses the line now. Here he goes at the 200 meter. So still quite far. He’s got some acceleration. Opens up a big gap. Remco can’t follow. Has to sit up. Yet again it is the battle between Wengerard and Paga for the stage. Remco Napole looked very very good today. I wonder whether he led why he led the entire climb. Well, today was very smart to to move over to the side and Remco very generous to take that turn. Kaspagar, there was never any other time that he was going to come back and give him a hand.

  1. The Mûr as altar and sentence

Two kilometers from the finish, when the peloton snaked between granite houses and firs twisted by centuries of Atlantic wind, Pogačar decided it was time. He did not attack like mortals. Rather, he ascended like one who levitates toward a summit that has belonged to him since before birth. He did so with the naturalness of a ritual already rehearsed a thousand times in dreams, with the surgical precision of a Celtic blade hurled from the future toward the heart of time.

His pedal stroke was a verse without rhyme but with inexorable destiny. Evenepoel tried to follow him, but lacked centuries of history in his legs. Vingegaard resisted to where gravity permits mortals who have not yet learned to fly. And the Belgian, who has not yet found the correct spell for this cursed race, again looked back as if he feared time more than effort, as if the ghosts of the Tour galloped behind him.

Pogačar crossed the line with a sober, almost mystical gesture of a warrior monk. He did not raise his arms to the sky, merely let them float like seagull wings. He seemed to hear something that we, mere mortals, do not hear: perhaps the voice of the Tour whispering his name, or maybe that of the centennial trees that have seen all the giants of the pedal pass by.

  2. Big question why remco take the lead on the last climb? Also, why on the last 400m he went behind the lead out and put himself on the left most side instead goinh behind tadej or jonas. Why? Why? Why? 😂😂

  3. I'm no road racer but from everything I've seen, Vinegaard sits on the wheel of Pogacer and risks nothing. The guy's a sneak. He's cushioned in Pogacer's slipstream and has the advantage of a surprise half pedal stroke to get around Pogacer on the run in to the line. Does he? No.

  4. Impressive, this early for Tadej. Doubt he will blow up later, he prob know his body pretty well and know that he can take a early lead and then relax a bit between the mountain stages. But you never know. He said last year that he almost blew up on one of the stages but when asked which one he refused to answer.

  5. Did anyone else notice how the Tubeless sealant sprayed, and then the rides came down, and one of the bikes with HOOKLESS ENVE wheels had no tires?

  6. The amount of people using Jonas' 2024 performance as a point that pogacar is so much stronger than Jonas are crazy. He suffered a collapsed lung, broken collarbone, rib fractures, and severe bruising not even 3 months prior to the start, and he was in no way even near the top of his game physically or mentally having come so close to death…

  7. Jonas lost what like 10Kg if that's true that was a mistake..he will be finished in the hills i hope not ks we need him now that Rogla is out of form and it looks like he will retire really soon we are fooocked

  8. I haven’t watched a tour since 2012 due to a variety of reasons after following it from 1998. This year has been amazing and Im glad im tuning in this year.
