I got lucky and had the bike passed down to me as a teenager, and it ended up fitting like a glove. It spend a couple of years as a backup-bike while I primarily rode a 2009 cannondale supersix, mainly due to downtube shifting and gear ratios not working for the south of germany and my weight.

I love the bike and decided that it deserved to spend more time on the road, so it received Mavic ksyrium wheels, an R7000 Groupset, assioma duo-pedals as power meter and a decent saddle. It rides beautifully, and being 6″4, I dont really mind it being two to three kilos heavier than my old supersix.

If anyone is looking for a vintage frame and needs a relatively short reach, take a look at Koga miyatas. I have yet to find another vintage road bike from the 90s that offers a similar geometry
