Got it about a month ago and already did about 500 km on it. Btw it’s not affiliated with the Motorcycle company in any way, it’s an Austrian brand. It’s the best climbing bike i‘ve ever had, just feels so effortless. Also is really fast on flat ground! The Sid Sl Ultimate certainly helps a lot on the downhills, especially when wearing a heavy backpack. The SLX brakes are very nice imo, definitely enough for the trails i‘m going to ride with this bike. I feel like the rotors are too small though, they‘re 160mm and get really hot on long descents.
It‘s a carbon frame, so it‘s pretty light anyway, but i‘m thinking of buying a set of carbon wheels in the unforeseeable future.
Are there any 29“ XC wheels that don’t break the bank too much? Thanks 🙂
