enjoy, girliepops :3
Hey guys, and today we’re going to be going to fifth biggest lake in Estonia by bike. Are you excited? I am kind of. And I just randomly decided to do this trip. So, let’s head straight to our destination. I’m holding my Yeah. transition. Um, this is probably the most random decision of my life because right now is 8 in the evening and the sun is going to set in 2 hours after which I will have one extra hour of moreover even sunlight and then I’m out. I’m completely out of any sun. Uh, the other problem is I need to buy myself breakfast and I guess I’m going to think about that a bit later. Oh, actually, you know what? I have breakfast already. I don’t need to worry about that. And outside right now is 20°. It is raining, but checking the weather for next few days. I wouldn’t have that much opportunity because it’s rather going to be hot or going to be raining. So, right now when the rain had just stopped, I’m going to try to attempt this amazing attempt. Wow. Okay, guys. Uh, I didn’t make far from my home because there is a hill right now. It’s almost half 8. It took me 30 minutes to pack up to go downstairs, check my bike, pump both wheels because they were a bit out. And yeah, uh this is going to be fun trip. That’s what I can tell you right now because it’s gonna get interesting when I get out of the city because I don’t know if there will be wind, what are the conditions and currently as I’m filming this road trip, I actually have one more which I didn’t release from Karka and that’s a bit funny like I already have edited it fully but I just still didn’t drop it and I’m already recording another. Anyways, now I’m going to head onto the bike. Woo! I haven’t been here. This bike road is completely new. That’s nice. Why is he beeping? Oh, why is there some sound? Whatever. Yes, this is actually new bike road and I’m going to head out on it right now. Update soon. Uh it started raining slightly outside. It’s not bad for now. Manageable. I’m going to make a decision uh when I reach the outskirts of the city. I mean when I will leave the city and I mean probably if I make decision to go home, you will never see this video. So if you are watching it, probably I already made a decision to go further. It’s very peaceful, very beautiful. There are some gaps between the clouds, but still it’s right lightly raining. For now, it’s pretty manageable. Updates. More coming soon. Hey guys, I had just checked. Both of my wheels are fine. I passed the last store and I guess I’m going to do this trip. Whatever it brings me to, I’m going to try to do it. Let’s embark on this epic journey. I can’t really tell what I feel right now, but guys, this time it’s completely different. Yeah, there is wind, but it’s not that kind of wind that uh that would stop my bike or like be uh be a problem to my journey. No, it’s just nice cold wind brought somewhere from the storm just straight into my face. Uh, I did not check the weather forecast and I have no honest idea what the evening will bring, but I’m heading over there where is a huge dark cloud which can suggest that I potentially maybe experiencing some trouble. Uh the closest like shelter point is that gas station in Ka all the way. So basically to get to first shelter I would need to ride around 10 kilometers which is half of my way to the Sarv the fifth biggest lake in Estonia. I’m going to be going to a town named Axi. I’m just saying it so you maybe can check it up on Google Maps also yourself. Anyways, I’m going to keep going. Okay guys, this field is what I remember at least is around halfway to KNA. So basically 25% of the way is done. I mean, even more because I also should account the distance I rode inside Tarto. But yeah, the road is like that. It’s briefly raining outside, but nothing very critical for my trip. So, I’m continuing my journey. Okay, guys. We’re almost in Karta. I recognized this uh sun panels, solar panels, sorry. And uh there’s going to be like a hill downward and uh there is going to be bridge river and turn to karka probably. Ooh. Ooh. Hey guys. Uh I’m probably going to go to KNA. Give it a second try. And also I’m going to go to the gas station. try to find there a toilet. Hey guys. Uh and uh just rest a bit because I want to I don’t want to be overt tired because Karka is basically just well 25% of the whole section. So yeah, I don’t really want to uh get too tired already. This is pretty. This is very pretty. Just look at that. Oh god, the sky is just amazing. Okay, I’ll keep going. A bit more of a heavy rain had started. I think I’m going to head straight to KNA. You know what? There is this amazing toilet and it was so clean. Uh there was even full roll of toilet paper. Estonia always surprises. Uh the guy was cutting the grass here the last time. Um if I want to go to Taba, I got to head straight there. And uh there is Karka. So I’m going to go down to the river right now as there are literally no other people around and I’m just going to check it out. I hope no one will steal my bike. Well, hopefully. Oh, that’s so nice. Look at that. Oh my god, that’s amazing. Look at that beauty. Yeah, the rain, by the way, is getting stronger. I guess I’m going to keep going, though. Uh, but here on the way back, I can definitely rest. This thing I know for sure. Okay. And right now it’s gonna start a new track for me that I didn’t see before. So a bit excited, of course. New part of the road, new adventures. And without further ado, let’s embark further on. Yeah. This is my bike near toilet. Amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Damn, guys. Look, there is more of Karka. There’s actually this amazing neighborhood of newly built houses and the residential area looks damn fancy. I’m changing my opinion about Ka. There was a possibility to actually ride on the other side of the road. There started a bike lane, but I chose to keep it like that. Guys, that’s amazing. That’s so cute. I would actually love to live somewhere like this place. Okay, I’m going to keep going. It’s 9:00 and I haven’t even made it to my point of destination. Um, I am starting to think that this trip that I chose might be a bit unrealistic, but I’m still going to try to attempt it. And holy holy hell. Up there is a huge hill. Oh no. That’s gonna be a blast. Freaking got up on that hill. Oh my god. It was so long and so exhausting. You have no idea. I thought my legs were going to die. This actually looks very seducing to me right now. But no time to stop. I need to keep the grind going. Let’s go, guys. There is still a slight hill. I’m going nine per hour because there is a freaking hill. Yeah, I feel so weird. Feel like I shouldn’t be here. Like everything is empty. There’s there are almost no people. I mean near Ka there was a one woman I saw, but other than that there’s really not many people. And the sky is so weird. It’s like kind of supposed to be storming and splattering all the earth and everything else with raindrops, but it’s not. It’s just like staying like that. And I’m just in the middle of nowhere cycling. Thank god Estonia that it’s so light and bright in the summer. Sunset will be at 10:20 something. So that’s like still over an hour I have of until sunset. Of course, ultimately I wouldn’t want to be biking home, you know, when it’s completely dark. So hopefully I’m going to I’m going to make this trip do well. And I’m also saying to myself that oh like this all the way up you’re climbing climbing on hills and hills but on the way down I’m just going to be descending and hopefully that is how I’m going to feel on the way down. But anyways, the scenery is amazing. It’s just so pretty. I thought I’m going to be listening to my headphones, but the sounds of nature, the wind, rain has been going constantly, but it’s very mild. At some point, actually, when I stopped near that toilet, it was the strongest. But right now, it’s moreover manageable. So, yeah, guys, just like that, I’m going to keep going and enjoying this amazing pesos. Look at that. Like there. I’m on the hill right now. And now look over there. Holy. I mean, it’s you can’t really see it in real life, but I’m pretty high up. And there’s just this great hills and scenery. Guys, to everyone who said that the Sonia is flat, freak you. Freak you. Honestly, guys, this is just amazing. This is just purely amazing. I have no words. Wow. And there is a downhill descent. I’m going to keep going. I’m not so far from my target. Oh my god. I love it. I love Estonia. Oh my god. Wow. Honestly, I would never think that I could find such sites in such beautiful country. In my home country in Ukraine, of course, there are many planes, but the thing here is that planes are like with a elevation. They’re not just plain planes. They’re with some elevation. Holy freak, that’s just beautiful. Wow. Okay, I need to keep going. I’m not spinning my pedals. That’s how crazy the hill is. Wow. I have no idea what the hell this lake is. Just probably some small lakey lakey. But it looks pretty. And the birds are flying around. For future, there’s another gas station. A bit older one. But hopefully I can also if what stay there to car. Oopsie. It can actually close. Oh wow. It will close at 10:00. Okay, then whatever. It’s not for me. Okay, right now we’re in a place called L and it is very close to our end destination. And what’s also cool about it is that it’s big enough and it even has a grocery store. Actually, two of them. One is cop. It’s a chain. And the other one is uh some random that is left the cop. Oh my god. So interesting. And someone sells strawberries over here. Okay. Hopefully the resolve it’s going to be soon guys. There is actually TU city bike over here. So, it means that I mean the government kind of tells you that you can get here by bike from Tarto. Wow. Holy. There’s even this nice thingy that goes under. Let’s take a peek. Oh, wow. Nice. Okay, let’s keep going. Okay, guys. Hi from me. Well, basically I descended from most hills that I encountered. I crossed the bike road and now it goes the final stretch of the road. The final stretch that is supposed to be just 3 kilometers long. I am very excited for it. But I’m also scared because I descended all those hills that I was climbing and I think I’m going to walk them up manually with bike because my legs will be too dead. Anyways, final stretch of the road. There was another crazy hill back there. I nearly fell. Uh but here the smell it brings me up. The smell from my great grandma’s village house. The smell of some farm animals, some uh you know like the smell of the food that you feed them. It’s like a mix of some herbs, some other stuff. Wow. It’s not the most pleasant smell, but it bring brings me some memories. The wind is kind of strong. So yeah, I guess it just brings the smell from somewhere else. But other than that, beautiful. Amazing. I’m going to keep going. Yet another countless hill that I have climbed. It is beautiful and very lonely and like I don’t know how to explain. What feeling does it give to me? Imagine just going straight there in the middle of the field in the middle of nowhere. That must be crazy. I still can’t figure out if it’s going to rain or not because if it’s going to rain, it seems like the rain will be very heavy. I mean, my phone does not give the colors so well, but damn. So far, I’m not regret regretting I went on this trip and the lake should be somewhere soon. Very soon. I just can sense it. Anyways, I’m going to keep going. The lake should be somewhere soon. Very, very soon. I just sense it. I sense that I’m going to see it very, very soon. And it’s going to be pretty as hell. And it’s gonna feel like the whole trip was worth it. But actually, the hills that I’ve rode so far, I don’t know if they’re worth climbing back. I’m going to see that on the way home. Nevertheless, oh my god, I can see it. I can see it. Oh my freaking god. Okay, I will need to turn here. Oh my god, guys. I think we almost made it. We almost freaking made it. Oh my god, I’m so excited. This town also, I get it’s not a town. Actually, let’s call it a settlement. No. Okay, let’s call it a town. Whatever. It seems pretty nice. It seems more like how to say it has more Soviet threetory huschovkas. So, probably in Soviet ancient right now it has been Yeah. Yeah. Look at that. Good old Karka didn’t have all that fancy stuff. Yeah, look at that. I just ate a mosquito. How nice. But look at that. That’s pretty damn nice. And now even twostory. That’s interesting. By the way, all this time I have been just sliding and uh yeah, I’m gonna have to get up that hill in the end. Holy freaking god. Wow. It says the village of Tartu region 2022. Holy. Okay, guys. This is Ice Age Center. Wow. It looks a bit funky but and not so attractive, but who cares? Oh my god. Oh my freaking god. I want to film it. Oops. I split the video so it won’t be too long. Oh my god. Look at that. Oh my god. I’m going to leave my bike here. You have no idea. how huge it is. You have no honest idea how damn massive this lake is. Wow. Oh my god. I was here before. Yeah. I haven’t been in a while, but just look at that. Holy freaking hell. Wow. I’m gonna I’m gonna come here. Wow. Wow. Wow. It’s so peaceful over here. This is insane. Wow. You might think I came here unprepared. Actually, I did. And mosquitoes are going to eat me, but I took a few leftovers of like bread crisps. I know it’s not the fanciest snack, but I just want to enjoy at least some food with such breathtaking view. Wow. Hell yeah. That was worth it. Okay, I’m going to start eating because the bugs are going to eat me very fast. The water is very shallow and it’s very very clean. You have no idea how clean it is. Actually, you have you can see how clean it is. That’s one thing I also love about lakes in Estonia that you can swim in lakes and they’re and they’re clean as hell. They’re not dirty or polluted. No one throws trash into them. I won’t go further because there’s a family fishing. I don’t want to disturb them. That’s also something I learned from Estonian mindset that you don’t go close to people if they’re doing something not because you’re afraid of them as someone might say that Estonians are, you know, have some social anxiety or whatever or they don’t speak to each other. No, they’re just different. They appreciate different things and values. Wow, this is just amazing. This is amazing. I’m glad I can. I am able to go on trips like that. I am physically fit. I have two legs that work. I have two arms that work. I can coordinate myself. I just thought all the people that can’t go on trips like that themselves, how do they feel? They probably also, and not probably, they do enjoy life, but they learn it to enjoy the other way. So, I’m very thankful I can actually enjoy life like this. Wow, there’s someone backyard over there. They have like a nice little house or sauna, their swing, then there’s a house behind that and like their own little pier where they can probably go kayaking or stuff like that. I can’t stay for too long because it’s 10 o’clock. It’s been two hours since I started my trip. Uh yeah. I better get going. I’m not really tired, but the way home, I feel like it will be pretty tiring. And yeah, I’m just going to stand myself and, you know, enjoy the view. As much as I would love to stand here forever, I got to I got to start going. It’s going to get dark pretty fast. I love this place. It was amazing. I hope it will be as amazing as my road back home. Bye-bye, Axi and bye-bye ice age center that I unfortunately didn’t get to visit at least right now. Maybe I am gonna come back here, but I will be honest. The ride is kind of long on one. So, I am really not sure. Anyways, let’s go. Let’s go and start our journey back. You know what’s funny? Now, the wind is other direction and the well alleged storm is literally there where I’m going back and the wind is also from there. It’s not as strong, but still. Yeah. Anyways, I will keep going. This is pretty. That’s like a hanging part park like an art performance of different stuff near the road. And there is like I guess crafted by locals like a pole which like thing in the surrounding is closed to where actually I just noticed I’m going to be rolling down the hill and there you see some poles actually there is a small also expo of different items and like how long plastic like oi how long they dissolve like decompose or if they don’t even and there were even some Soviet cubes for kids learning a language and they were completely old and rotten. But that’s like so interesting. By the way, check this out. Okay, never mind. Yeah, but I’m just chillfully sliding down and enjoying this view and those actually super dark clouds in the front. I hope I’m not going to be caught by rain. I very much hope so. O, the smell of that farm and cows and different animals and their food is back. But uh riding downhill is extremely extremely pleasant. Can’t say anything about that. And yeah, just like that. I’ve been enjoying this ride of mine very very much. Wow. I’m I’m so grateful I can have opportunity like that. And right now is an opportunity. Look at that. Oh my god. I can speed up there like crazy, which I am gonna try. Maybe just a bit though, but I will try. And I keep rolling down. That’s the best feeling ever. This is the worst place of the road as for me. You might ask why so? Well, because here basically that very top was the hill that I climbed up there and it kind of descends all the way here which is a very low point but the hill that leads to axi and the lake is also on the hill. So this is like ultimate low point. Wherever way I go, I need to climb up a hill. And this one is very Okay, it’s not very steep, but it’s like uncomfy and it’s very long. So, I have no other choice than to walk all the way up the hill. Amazing. Yeah, I’m just going to keep walking. The way home is always faster, they say. Well, let’s see how long it will take me to get home. Considering that the way there took me two hours, accounting for everything. Yeah, the clouds there don’t look promising at all. But I walked up the hill and now I can bike again. Good for me. Yo, guys, they just turned on the lights. There are actually some streets street lights along the way. At least this section of the road, that’s just amazing. Oh, guys, I’m not joking. The clouds in front look horrifying. They might spit out some insane rain. And I honestly I’m okay, I’m not scared, but I’m just like very apprehensive. What kind of rain will it be in the end? Because I’m sure there will be some kind of rain. It’s been kind of raining all the time. Uh but yeah, I will see. And right now will be the hardest left hardest part of the trip. I’m gonna be going up that the highest hill that I was descending literally in free roam for like I don’t know like 2 minutes. So yeah, I got to oop uh I got to or speed up or I don’t know because the clouds are very very dark. I mean you again can’t see it on the video of course but promise me they’re very dark. Holy. Oh no. And it already started raining more heavy. Probably don’t hear the raindrops but holy moly. Okay, I will start going a bit faster than I did before. I hope it will help me. Updates coming. Okay, guys. I finally made it up on this crazy hill. The clouds are moving fast. They’re very dark. Actually, it’s darker outside than it’s on my camera. I wonder why is it like that? uh the sunset 10 minutes ago and uh over there. Oh, actually you can even see it on camera over there and over there. There are like the rain lines. You can see clearly where it’s raining currently. But I wonder if it’s the same where I’m going. Anyways, going to keep going. More of its beauty. And also look there. You see the lights very very far in the distance. I even think it might be tart. We’re so high that we actually might be seeing tarto currently, but mosquitoes are eating me. So, I got to keep going. It’s kind of sad to be descending back to the kind of planes because this hill is the last of the huge hills that I encountered on my way. It was cool when I was on the top. It’s again raining a bit stronger and I am still surprised that throughout the whole trip rain hasn’t caught me much and I am pretty much lucky to just keep going dry. But let’s first get home and then I could tell if I got lucky throughout the whole trip or not. Okay, there will be a hill soon. So, I will yeah later. Okay, hopefully that was the last of I mean moreover big hills and now I’m just gonna descend this hill back to Karka and then I’m going to be on moreover familiar road and as if confirming my words it started raining more strong but it’s still you know not the full rain so like the epicenter of the storm is still somewhere but not here. And I’m like thinking, will it hit me? Maybe it’s even somewhere there. At least I can see it with my eyes. Maybe it’s not visible on camera, but yeah, I’m descending to that fancy Karka neighborhood. And uh hopefully I’m going to make it because the weather forecast says rain every day next days. And it’s also going to be a bit more warm. So it will be too hot to do this, you know, trip. I mean, any other day. At least I think so. And also the fact that probably it said rain for this evening, but so far I still haven’t caught anything strong. Nevertheless, I’m going to keep sliding. It is already pretty dark. I have no idea why my camera captures as if it’s so bright, but it’s pretty dark outside. But nonetheless, nevertheless, I have final stretch of my way to Tarto. There’s this open field on the left, and that’s the like last field before Tarto starts. I’m, I’m not going to lie, a bit tired. Maybe even a bit more than a bit. But overall, this trip has been great so far. And holy moly, Estonia, you are surprising me. Well, now it came. The rain came right now. I’m almost in Tarto. And of course, I’m not going to stop anywhere. I’m just going to cycle fast home and that’s it. Wow, that’s crazy how light the surroundings are on my camera. It’s literally so dark. Anyways, welcome back. must to Oh my god, my ass even hurts a bit. Just a bit. Hurts from sitting on the bike. But other than that, I guess I’m moreover fine and I don’t care that much because I’m already in the city and now I just need to get home which is just another few kilometers. Yep. some familiar sides. Now it’s going to be a fun part because there’s going to be a pretty nice hill which I’m just going to be sliding down. Oh my god. If this is not heaven, what is it? Wow. Wow, guys. It is definitely worth it. It’s basically night. If there wouldn’t have been clouds, it was it would be actually pretty nice and bright outside. But clouds, when there are clouds, it it just feels like night. Don’t know if it’s good or bad, but Oh my god, I nearly smashed a frog. I’m sorry. Oh wow. Yeah, this is actually I love this road. I’ve never actually descended it. So, another fun experience for me. Yeah, but um I don’t know what to say. Th this was a great trip. Actually, I can say about the trip right now. It was a great trip. It was exhausting to a point. Uh there were five major big hills which I had to overcome which I did in the end and I managed pretty fine and uh yeah overall it was great. It was challenging but the lake was rewarding. It really was huge like insanely huge. is fifth biggest lake in Estonia and Estonia is known for its big lakes. Nevertheless, it’s like that. I’m going to keep going home. We’ll have a snack and like that. Oh, wow. That’s a frog noise. I’m pretty sure about it. Yeah, we’re near the river. The river is literally over there. And it’s nice here. I like this neighborhood. Those are like new fancy schmancy houses. I would live here. Of course, there’s even some Porsche near one of the homes. Of course, I would live here. Yeah, this is TTO already. And uh yeah, it was nice. It was nice uh having you together experiencing this trip, these new emotions, and uh I’m going to update when I get home how long I traveled in total. And that’s basically it, guys. Don’t have uh power to do much more else. Uh yeah, but thank you for watching in advance. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did because hell I enjoyed it to every bit of the road. And no, it wasn’t boring that half of the road to Karkna I already knew. It was great. Oh, there’s a stray dog. Hi, buddy. Uh, yep. Thank you guys. We’ll see you soon. I’m home. It’s very peaceful outside. This is the last video for today. Uh tired but happy. And I rode exactly 40 kilometers. Yes, I’m taking my bottle. It was nice. See you guys soon. Yep. That was a nice ride. Okay, bye-bye. Good night.
