Have you heard of Life Cycles? 🚴

They are a charity organisation that are saving bikes from landfill, repairing them and selling them on to new owners. Life Cycles are based in the Waterside Train Station, here you can bring your bike in for repairs or purchase a pre-loved bike at an affordable price!

located in the water site train station life cycles is run by Monica Don with her team of amazing volunteers here you can bring your bike in for repairs and the team can work their magic or you can purchase a bike at an affordable price life cycles are a saving bikes from the wa stream there’s a designated area a penny bur recycling center where the public can bring any unwanted bikes that the team then collect and bring back to the hub here they assess the bikes conditions and any that aren’t in a good enough condition to be repaired can be used for parts or they get them cleaned up repaired and ready for a new owner they’ve got bikes for adults and children of all ages especially since bikes are so expensive and kids are growing all the time they don’t take long out growing their bikes so it’s a great system to reuse bikes that have otherwise been going to landfill there’s such a strong sense of community here at life cycles none of which would be possible without the Fantastic Team of volunteers that make this nonprofit the great organization that it is
