I rode it on the bike trail for 8 miles yesterday.
The freewheel was cooked. It was noisy and annoying me the entire ride.
I replaced it earlier today with a cheap ACS 16t main drive model. It rides much better now, without the noises the old one was making. It sounded like spoke noises, popping and clicking.
Another thing I upgraded was the front tire. I put a wider one on that is more suitable for street use.
Rides much smoother now!

Absolute beauty, I use a Halo Clickster Freewheel on all my midschool builds, bit pricier but I can promise you it’s worth every penny for how good it feels

Word. Front tire is on backwards tho, just flip the wheel.

Depending on the width, id say the front should be on the back and back should be on front also. If the current back tire is narrower, leave it be, but proper mixed tire setup is more grip up front.
