I’m a relative novice cyclist but have been interested in getting a “real” road bike for a while now, and after some research, settled on the Domane line. My budget is ~$1,500, and I found this SLR 6 for $1,200. Seller said he’d also throw in a set of Bontrager Aeolus Pro5 carbon wheels for an extra $300.
I’m pretty interested, but is there anything you’d flag to me before I follow through with this? Fair price? Bike too old? Will the brakes be a PITA? Any insight would be greatly appreciated; want to make sure I do my first bike right. Thanks

It’s a fine bike, but I’d want it for under $1200 with both wheelsets. The only sticking point is the BB90 bottom bracket. Probably it’s fine, but if it creaks, the solution set to fix it is very constrained.
