This morning, after the video camera was stopped filming, staff assisted in removing the dead chick’s body and returning one of the chicks that had fallen to the ground to its nest.
The chick that survived had little chance on the ground due to the presence of foxes and cats; now, back in the nest, we’ll have to see if the booted eagle returns.
