[Music] Hosting the fourth round of the 2025 Irish National BMX Series and the track is alive with action. Lukon BMX Club has once again opened its gates to riders and fans from across the country. More than 100 competitors have gathered from every corner of Ireland. Raid oath, Cork, Belfast, Lisburn, and of course, local legends from Lucan. From riders under five to veterans over 50, the spirit off BMX unites generations. Families have pitched tents, a flags wave in the breeze, and speakers blast the beats of a bum’s festival. The smell of great food, pop-up gear stands, and race day smiles are everywhere you look. Today’s race marks the fourth of seven rounds in this year’s championship series. Every heat, every jump, every turn counts toward national glory. The Lucan track is a masterpiece of curves and climbs. Built to test skill, courage, and reaction. It’s where legends are born and limits are broken. BMX racing began in the 1970s when kids in California mimicked motocross. Decades later, it became an Olympic sport with fearless riders and thunderous starts. To compete here takes more than speed. You need precision, heart, balance, and nerves of steel.
