Looking back 2 years ago, I would have never thought that Mountain Biking would become my obsession.
I causally was watching YouTube when bike feeds would randomly be recommended. After a few weeks, I ened up buying a Giant Talon 2.
1 year later, I felt that I needed a bit more travel, a few more gears, and wanted a full suspension bike. I vaught a Canyon Spectral 29 CF 8. After a few upgrades, this truly became my dream bike. However, I got the itch.
I have 160mm travel on the Canyon and I felt like it was a bit too much for 95% of the riding I typically do in Florida. I wanted a happy medium and more importantly, I wanted to go fast. That's when I purchased a Specialized Epic 8 Evo Pro.
Im absolutely thrilled with the bike and still getting adjusted to it. If any of you have any recommendations on upgrades or tip as its the first time I have an axs system, please let me know.

Perfect progression to me. I love 120mm bikes. Makes most trails super fun.
Great story, I started myself by getting a BMX when I was 6 so I jumped around the neighborhood and got used to riding a bike. Than I stopped till I turned 14,5 and I got a used Batavus b1 hardtail with 30mm suspension and a 3×7 which sometimes skipped gears. I rode it for about half a year when I decided to do a jump and I broke the frame and fork… After that I didn’t ride for 3 months than it was December and I got that itch again to start riding. I got a ghost Kato 4 2017 hardtail and I’ve been riding it for the past 1,5 years or so and next month I’ll be buying a new full sus full carbon downcountry/trailbike
Didn’t progress in bike photography. 😜
Before I read the description I was going to say this looked a lot like FL (though photo #2 looks like NC)
