As I imagined, the bike it is very comfortable. The saddle absorbs vibrations quite good on bumpy roads. Disc brakes work wonders even if they are 140mm, though no full gas on any decent because I still feel the bike is very nervous, compared to all my previous bikes. Di2 Ultegra, no remarks except the fact that I can’t update the levers without going to a bike repair shop or buying some cables to perform a more than complicated NOT WIRELESS procedure. On the other hand, the front and rear derailleur were flawlessly updated using the Shimano app.
Paring the power meter and the Di2 with my EDGE 840 solar was very simple. Furthermore, I could zero the 4iii extremely easy from my 840.
I had never had carbon road wheels, love the new experience. Those wheels mixed with the aero frame have made a difference. I was 3km faster on a hour ride compared to my gravel running on 30 slick tyres.
Finally, the storage. I was scared it could rattle on bumpy roads, and it did, once. I wasn’t careful enough to put the tools back correctly in the neoprene bag. It was a matter of placing it back again as it was supposed to be. I even did I quick waterproof test. I poured 1 bottle of water directly on the storage and I couldn’t see anything getting wet on the inside. Let’s hope it stays like that.
Overall, I’m very happy with the bike. It is comfortable, fast, and beautiful. Moreover, electronics were easy to set up and use(except for that lever update).
