I have a similar gap on my kink whip and was told by multiple people that it’s normal. As long as the cranks are not loose, you’re good

Looks good to me there’s a race at the bottom of that cone washer and has to press up against the bearing race. If it was completely flush with the bottom bracket it would bind up the bearing
