[Music] Hello and welcome to highlights of stage three of the Juratalia women 2025. 122 kilometers from Vetza to Turento today for the riders getting signed on earlier this morning in Vetzio. All eyes on European champion Lena Vivas and Ad Henderson with all the faint accessories there and the pink jersey. Today’s stage very much a stage of two halves with the one and only Queen of the Mountains climb coming very early on in the race. Also the Chima Strada, the highest point of this year’s Shirroatalia. We then had one intermediate sprint before a very flat fast run in to Trento at the end of 122 km. Total of 1,228 m of climbing. But with it all very early on, a big question mark over how this stage could go. The official start was given and with us rapidly approaching the first climb of the day, the highest point of this year’s talally of women. That was hotly contested winning that climb. We then had attacks on the descent and it was Jen Casova of who went solo on her own. She was chased down by the rider from Seratiz Proclano who tried to come across to her. The Pelaton kept things under control though. The gap went out to a maximum of 1 minute and 42 seconds at one point. Jenova was clear for the intermediate sprint. She took the maximum points and seconds available on the line. There was a big contest behind though from the bud with Henderson trying to get some bonus seconds, but Marlon Royer yesterday’s time trial winner did go clear to get the m remaining two bonus seconds on the line there. Looking back at the pelletton, all eyes were on Lorena Vibes. Could she take the stage win today? Anna Hensson still in that pink, just losing two seconds to Marlon Royer in that sprint, but looks set to still remain in the pink jersey. Petra Shenko of Seratiz Pro Cycling was caught by the Pel headed up by Canyon Shramm Zonda Crypto thinking about the chances of Kiara Consi today inside the final 30k. The gap was coming tumbling down and eventually our lone leader Norah Jenova of Bpink was caught by the Pelaton. We were keeping an eye on Mariana Voss on a finish light today. A flat fast run into Trenton with a corner coming inside the final 500 m. There were some technical challenges, but with the rain coming down at 2 and a halfk to go coming round the roundabout, a huge crash saw so many riders in the pelaton either down on the ground or delayed by that crash, including our overall race leader, Anna Henderson. But crucially, a number of riders were able to get through and we were inside the final 3 km, meaning the 3 km rule would apply. Christina Schweinberger who was near the front at the time for Fenix Durik was trying to go clear solo and with a very small group behind chasing her headed up by SD Works Pro. It was a case of SD Works Pro versus Fenick Durik for the winner. Christina Schwinberger was caught inside that final kilometer and with a lead out by world road race champion Lot Capeki for Lena Vivas round that final corner. Full on sprint out the saddle by Lotica Pekki unleashing Lena Vivas inside the final 200 meters and nobody could stay with her except for young Brick Josie Nelson. But Lena Vivas would take victory number 106 of her career here for stage three of the Juralia women. Congratulations from the teammates on the finish line also involved there. This was what remained of the riders after the crash getting back over the line. Marlon Royster and Anna Henderson were safely over the line and they will get the same time as the leaders due to the fact that crash was in the final 3 km. Confirmation of the stage results. Lorena Vivas won from Josie Nelson. Loti in third. Alisa Longa Bogini in fourth. Bet Vandervol in fifth. Podium celebrations for the European road race champion Lorena Vibes taking the stage today. The overall pink jersey standings. No change in the positions. Only change being Maron Royce has gained 2 seconds on Anna Henderson. So closing that gap to 13 seconds rather than 15. But Anna Henderson will remain in that pink jersey going into stage four tomorrow. So for tomorrow, stage four, it’s been given five stars by the organizers. 142 km await the riders with a total of four categorized climbs throughout the route. So we will have the Queen of the Mountains jersey hotly contested tomorrow. One intermediate sprint for points and bonus seconds. We then have our final Queen of the Mountains on the line, finishing with a first category climber after 142 km of racing tomorrow. It is going to be a brutal one. Expecting change in the GC.
