hello everybody my name is jbm travels the true UK traveler and today I started this journey off in grimby and I’m going to head off to immingham if that’s how you pronounce it which is in North Lincolnshire the next town over so I’m going to go hop on a bus and I will see you either on the bus or when I’m in Imam Town Center I’m sorry if I pronounced it wrong but I may not be able to pronounce it like the locals do I have now arrived in Imam and right beside me is a statue it is just literally over here of Tommy created and and designed by Peter Mac Robert in memory of all uh felon Heroes yes and then there is like a war memorial thing over there yes sorry I was just reading that that’s why I was looking down but this is very interesting this part of the Town yes and the way the sculpture is onto the bench is lovely so I’m going to show you it all now here is the statue yep absolutely lovely and some information about it right here and you got these flowers over here and the W Memorial right here I would read what it says but it’s covered up yes it is so I can’t read it to you but it is [Music] lovely now there is this here but the plaque is faded away well has faded away shame a tree in memory of the men and women of the Merchant Navy this tree is this tree was planted in August 1995 year after I was born by the town May councelor Lenard Roberts on his be on behalf of the royal Brides leag on it’s hard to read this if you can read that yeah you can probably you can see it better in the camera actually and finally one more tree in memory of a person that died at work yes that is lovely the two trees are nice touch yes I’m not so keen on these pots got a few shops here and the county Hotel over there and the statue you have lovely touches like this and then big pencils obviously they’re not real absolutely beautiful and I am going to walk this way and I’m loving that tree stump going to keep walking this way and I will see you further down oh it leads you to the back part of Home Bargains Tes goes and that lot yes so you have a test Card Factory Subway and unfortunately pound stretcher has closed down it looks like and here you have horn foods which is a great place to shop in and whatnot yes it totally is right there y YouTube on YouTube um Top Nails barers B&M these seem to be everywhere this Bakery and I have not tried it I might try one tomorrow you know Top Nails Lo local off license post office you name it you’ve got it B&M right here and so on now you got this thing here if anyone knows what it is comment Down Below in the comments section I have no clue what it is whatsoever I am confused as hell to what this is or could be okay the artwork was assigned with the community of Imam and gifted to them in 2019 as a celebration of their past present and future yes if I’m pronouncing the name wrong do correct me in the comments down down below I’m finding this one a bit difficult to pronounce yes so going to walk back up there right up here and yeah YouTube you yeah going to walk down here and carry on a row shops that look to be closed from here and the plan is to head back towards grimy Town Center area whoa going so fast that is the plan for now yes it is so yeah that is the plan so I went to the fishing chip shop and I got bad as saus and chips yes I’m going to show you it all now here is the chips and there is the batter sausage here it goes with my mini Fork [Music] they’re nice my opinion a bit overcooked but it have lots of flavor the flavor is what’s making the chips very nice going to pull out the batter sausage and show you it all the batter sausage is very very nice indeed I’m loving every bit of it m delicious so I forgot to do the verdict on the batter sausage and chips the batter sausage is really really good however the chips are really tasty they have a lot of flavor but they were overcooked and they were mushy still the flavor flavoring gave it the points yes if it wasn’t for the flavor they would have been terrible I mean terrible but they had a good amount of flavor in the chips yes so my overall rating for the for the batter sausage and chips is a meas 6.8 out of 10 and the reason for that is because the chips were overcooked and mushy yes that is my verdict I’m going to end the video there and say I had a lovely time in Imam if that’s how you pronounce it if I pronounce it wrong I do apologize yes do I recommend going there tricky one no only because there’s not much about but if you want to explore somewhere new then obviously go and see it it does have a lot of architecture a lot of community stuff about yes lots of stuff you can go and see outside but is it worth it probably not but it’s still something nice to go and see yes if you’re in this area then yeah I would go check it out but I wouldn’t come to the area for Imam yes I wouldn’t come here for that apart from now I hope you enjoy this video and thanks for watching please like comment
