I was about to be really impressed you managed to shear off a spline completely, especially the wide one… oh, it looks like that had a steel piece bolted there to prevent cog bite, and the tiny screw they used to hold that steel piece got sheared off.
I’d imagine you’d be fine for quite some time… and also that if you just pulled the cassette off, that steel piece was probably still in there and you could just sit it in place (or try to extract the broken tiny screw and replace it, but that looks like no fun)

It’s safe to ride ***while you wait for the replacement to arrive in the mail****.*
It’s only going to get worse from here, and it’s going to get worse a lot faster now. Order the replacement now. It’s just not that expensive, and replacing it is the only right answer.

Well, you’ve got a lot of other splines to go. Order the part, but otherwise just send it.

Woah, out of all the times that people post pics of chewed up free hubs asking if they’re ok, I think this is the first time that there actually IS something wrong with it.
But like everyone else said, I’d still probably ride it while I’m looking for a replacement.
