used to love these rims these are the original, I had a set of the version after still have one destroyed unfortunately and the front they made years later. Mine held up for a long time of abuse.
these rims were also super heavy.
with crossed laced wheel rims generally speaking spoke tension stays tighter longer. More lateral strength than a traditional laced wheel, but because of the higher spoke tension hops are made easier in the rim. Ideally you want something that’ll loosen up a bit over time easier. That’s why I went to 7ka rims.
