TTW has to cycle 20km to start the stage. Nutrition issues
I’m shashing a lavage. Here it is. We’ve got to get this bike clean, otherwise there’ll be problems. Okay, so we’ve worked out the lavage. Uh, basically the thing you need to note is the red one is hot, so we’re not using that. And um yeah, basically you got to I I don’t think we’re going to try the the card machine. Um uh so we we’ve got to find some coins uh which will be fun. And uh then we’ll get cracking. Guess what? Also, we found support. Yay. Yeah, things are looking up. Lens wipes for Archie’s glasses. They are for the uh disc rotor. Clean them up. Make sure they’re good. And then we got a bit of oil for the chain, which is a bit dirty. Uh so it needs another bit of a clean, but uh then we should be good to get cracking. Woohoo. Okay. So according to the GPS from the tour to France website, the tour to France for this which is stage seven starts about here. How ridiculous is that? It’s just random in the middle of nowhere. So bizarre. Anyway, we’re off on another adventure. What did I say? Stage seven, I think this is. And we’ve had a rest day. Feeling good. Bit of sleep. Yay. Uh booked a hotel. Can’t be bothered to camp another night in a row. Um and so here we are. We’ve started trying to do about 100k. Uh woo along sort of across the coast. Hey horses chals. Hello mal. Right onwards. Right. Bonjour as meondi. Uh is the start of stage seven and uh we are cracking. We’ve had two panachalas. Oh, look. Roundabout with Levos on it. We’ve cleaned the bike. Very important. Um, thank God for that. And uh, it’s looking a lot smarter and uh, running like a clock. We still don’t have the big gear. Unfortunately, it’s not working. Uh, somebody will tell me it’s because of the bags on the bike pinching the chain, but I don’t think that is it. Anyway, uh 100k ahead of us. Oh, let’s get cracking. What the hell is that? It’s next to that. I think this is a new version of that. It’s not a water tower. You can see through it. Bizarre. It’s actually got an architectural sort of feel to it. Municipal buildings in France rather than just chuck up another block. A building of some architectural merit in the middle of nowhere for no reason. How French. I absolutely love it. Well done them. Right onwards. Looking a bit wet that bicycle still cruisy. It’s not like Swiss Normandy. This is uh this is a very small hill. This one god knows where I am. Some sort of nature area. Very nice. Cycling for about two and a half hours. Must be about halfway, something like that. Anyway, we keep going. Hello, pals. They’re lying down, don’t they know it’s not going to rain today? Famous last words. More descending. Oh, I love the descending. Wind is the enemy of the cyclist. Second only to gravity. Thank you sir Eton for that. obviously disproved by Albert Einstein, his theory of general relativity. Hopefully, our friend Professor Brian Cox will prove that wrong cuz we need to disprove that in order to find out what dark matter is, but that’s a whole other thing. Uh, the wind is a problem today and it’s going to be a problem tomorrow as well. Oh, we hate the wind. Anyway, we continue. Okay, massive screw up. Well, it’s not massive screw up. It’s just I am battered. And Plymouth Valandre is 13 kilometers down here and I am beat. I have bonked. No energy at all. Got nothing in me. We we got 13 km to go. I don’t know. We’ll do it. Another part of the coastline at the end of the day. We can just see the sea. Wow. Nearly there. I’ve had enough. How cool is this? There’s a little baby alpaca over there. Baby alpaca. And here’s my little spot for the night. Screw the camping. No need to put a tent up. And uh although it’s a funny pod there, it’s a very sweet little spa. Very quiet. Just what I need. Right, just end of day video just to say we’ve made it to sort of halfway of stage seven uh near the beach. Different beach. Um blime me, a long long day. And um let’s just say the famous booking website uh had the wrong address for where I had booked this evening and sent me on a um 35 minute detour, which is what I sort of didn’t need quite frankly. Anyway, um going to get some rest and uh tomorrow is to finish part two of stage seven and it finishes with um a climb called the wall. Sounds awful. Um anyway, uh until tomorrow. Ciao. What?
