Yes, for Phillips, you had already won nine stages on the tour of the front, but this one, this number 10 is really special. Yeah, it’s really amazing. Uh the 10th victory is uh something never will forget and just a team performance. Um yeah, it’s incredible. I think uh we were there all day. All day uh was very nervous but we know yeah today it it just has to be uh yeah our day and we have to be in the front and yeah we uh we were there in the split. The team did amazing and in the end we just could uh use our strength uh be there and um finish it off. But it’s amazing because there’s a yellow jersey at the end. You don’t talk about the yellow jersey, but did you have it in the back of your mind? Yeah, of course. I I knew uh I really I really good legs and um yeah, the final 2 kilometers with all the spectators, all the people next to the fences. Yeah, it just gave me uh goosebumps and um yeah, I knew we we just had to do it and or my uh my legs got some extra strength. Uh yeah because of the adrenaline it was uh riding through little and it was just uh yeah the incredible feeling. Locus about the the echelons. I mean basically it’s been tense for 120 kilometers. The speeds all the teams going to the front. The crosswinds, the crashes. I mean it was a pretty hectic day. Yeah, it was all day um bit fighting to be there up front and the guys did amazing to keep us in the front but was always stress for for not a lot had happened and then suddenly final uh 15 kilometers uh it all opened up and yeah the team was incredibly strong. I think everybody’s on a really good level and yeah we just had a really great opportunity today and I’m so glad we uh we we took it. What’s it mean for you to to have the yellow jersey on your shoulders? Yeah, it’s really I I cannot uh yeah have dreamed about it. I I already had a green jersey from uh two years ago and then to have the yellow jersey hanging somewhere in my house uh yeah in the next uh years it’s going to be amazing. We all know that confidence is also very important on a to for a sprinter to start off with a stage victory could lead out to several other successes. Yeah, of course, the competition is really high and uh yeah, there’s so many strong riders here and yeah, I knew we just had to be 100% focused and with all the all the guys did amazing and uh yeah, was a was a hell of an opportunity and I’m so glad uh we took it. Enjoy the podium. Thank you. Yasper Phillips in the lead in the green jersey competition. uh jersey he knows very well indeed, but also now leading the general classification and winning the yellow jersey that as he says will hang somewhere in his home, I’m sure will be taking pride of place. He won three stages last year, had to wait until stage 10 for his first victory. Had to wait until stage three in 2023 when he took four stages and that green jersey. This time around he has won from the off at the first time of asking. So he will be wearing that yellow jersey tomorrow. This is a team that knows how to defend that as
