I dropped my bike trying to rest it on a wall during one of my rides. The right side shift lever (first two pics) bent inwards a bit after the fall. The third picture is the left side, which is not damaged for comparison.

I was able to ride home just fine, all shifting on the right side still worked as expected. It’s a bit uncomfortable now though, since when I break I can now feel the shift lever poke into my fingers a bit as it’s not flush with the brake lever anymore. Is there any way I can fix this? I tried gently bending it which did not work, I’d need more assurance that I won’t irreparably damage it before putting more force into trying to pull it back.

You probably can just pull it back, but a better solution would be to learn how to adjust them. If you pull the rubber hood back, it should reveal a hex bolt that secures the lever to the bar. It can be loosened so that the shifter can be moved to the desired position, then re tightened. You don’t want to over tighten it, so that if you do wreck, or drop the bike it will move instead of damaging the shifter or the bars (just like it did when you dropped it)

If you roll the rubber hood up and away from the handlebar, you should be able to see a bolt head which tightens/loosens a clasp around the handlebar. When this bolt is loosened, it should be easy enough for you to reposition the entire lever mechanism back into its original position. Once you reposition it, retighten the bolt head and pull the rubber hood back down.
