This week we are doing our shakedown ride in Herefordshire and Shropshire. On today’s route we hit the infamous Portway with full kit. Hopefully this will be harder than any section on our Land’s end to John o’Groats tour. Only time will tell.

okay so today we are in herafordshire somewhat soggy herafordshire for our final shakedown ride so we’re going to go through a few little bits and bobs that have changed since the last time i recorded a video actually got a lot of videos that have been recorded i just don’t have the time to edit them and they’re all fairly similar so we’re we’re going to kind of skip out a load and move on to this as being the latest so the big thing about the day is that this is the longest ride that we’ve done in a very long while so it’s going to be over 80 mi hopefully and it’s also the highest descent so we’re actually doing a harder day today fully loaded day today as i say it’s a shakedown ride to see how we get on on a day that will actually be harder than hopefully all of uh the jog tour [Music] [Music] [Music] by the way luke this is going to be the big test bloody big test cuz this is going to be 20% in places possibly more but with full kit this may not be wise to be fair stopping where i’ve just stopped not particularly wise either if i’m honest i didn’t realize it was going to pull as quickly here we go get in there you bastard [Music] no chance [Music] we’re virtually wheeling up here that’s no good [Music] [Music] this is ridiculous just need more weight on the front wheel [Music] [Applause] [Music] you know sometimes when you see sheep you think they’re not the brightest creatures i swear i just saw a sheep looking at me thinking that exact same thing humans eh nice what was he say [Music] [Music] [Music] heat heat heat [Music] [Music] heat heat [Music] you can always be fitter so lesson learned

Hi Midlife Fitness Journey, great video! Deserves more views. Perhaps vyrotimes can help with that.
