The wiring for the shifter goes directly into the hub, in this hard plastic outer shell, how can I remove the rear wheel to change the tire with this system?

I have this same bike. There is a single wire going to shifter that needs to be removed Quick disconnect. Remove the chain tensioner to make it easier to remove wheel. Unscrew completely each nut from the axle. Keep track of spacers on each side. They are color coded. Does this help?
