Hi – im trying to remove this shimano br-5600 brake from this fork. I got the long nut out from behind but it isn’t budging. Ive tried hammering from behind with a punch, and prying from the front with a screwdriver, but its not moving. Am i missing something or am i just weak??

Add some deep penetrating oil and let it soak in for a while. Looks like a lot of corrosion making removal difficult.
