All the teams uh are across the road. Big block there. It looks like they’re happy with that breakaway. A pretty chaotic day. Uh in the end, I was pretty stoked to make the front echelon, but yeah, obviously I had a bit of a rough time with uh what 4Ks to go. Completely out of my hands. Just I just wanted to sit back and watch the sprint. Happy I made the front split. So yeah, pretty uh yeah, stage one is always so rough. crash at the pelaton and a number of riders have hit the deck as they made their way down that descent. I think Moric is one of them. Another rider on the right hand side who’s in the ditch. That’s I think Leonard Vanetvelt head of Bruno Amiry. But here comes the bunch sprint just behind Jonathan Milan and Binium Germay going shouldertosh shoulder and the yellow jersey comes through as well and so does Tim Malia. Whoa, there’s a big fight here. Milan and Germay a massive argument. Yeah, Milan is not happy at all there with whatever happened. We didn’t see it. Well, I think Mila might have won the points, but a big fight between Milan and Germ. Milan is really upset
photo. So, it must have happened before. I reckon he came in on the inside because he said uh seemed to say you’re you’re crazy. Uh by the way, he was hitting his head. Brian Cockar also having a go behind the rider from Group Arm FDJ United. Anishake said Pel Paul Penowitz and Cockar having a proper argument too. And Grego Bernut pulls the parachute. Axel Laurons comes up. Oh, Matthew Vanderpool has a little bit of a switch to the other side and Pagatcha looks around to see what the damage is. Is he going to strike? Well, Jorgensson decides to go and Pagatcha now accelerates as well. This is the Vizma plan to nullify Paga’s punch. Here goes Kevin Valan. Big attack of the Frenchman. Only straight on the wheel. Onley wants the stage win for picnic postnell. He’s been given the freedom. Just try and do what you can do on attack of Wengerard. Wenger starts to strike now. Big acceleration of Yonas Wengerard as he starts the acceleration to go downhill now and put everyone under pressure. Well, Wengerard is riding the first two days of this tour to France with vengeance. And some riders are probably going to come from behind and try and attack again. Here goes Voglav for the third or fourth time. Jorgensson straight on the wheel.
Vlan takes another opportunity. Jorgensson straight away only tries to close the gap. 4.3 km of racing to go.
Lipovich. Big attack from Lipovich.
Lipovich decides to go. Immediately onto his wheel goes Lutenko again. Group have got two or three riders in here.
62 km an hour. They’ve been so active, the Group Armor team. Oh, and Senko almost overshoots on the right hand side. It’s going to be an allout sprint for the top of this.
Big move of Julian Alfalip. Alfalipe launches, looks around, sees Machu Vanderpool decides not to go. Bengard moves up on the wheel of Taga. Pagata looking for his hundth win in his career. Alfip swings across the road, not prepared to go to the front yet. It’s a long way to the finish line. Big move on the left hand side of the road. Pagatcha looks. Vulcan goes again to try and win the stage. Vanderpool now starts to open it up. It is such an elite group of riders moving up. Alfalipe onto the wheel of Tad Baga. Vengerard moves up on the left hand side. There goes Matthew Vanderpool. Vanderpool starts the acceleration. He sees the gantry in front of him. It’s going to be all out between Vanderpool and Pagatcha. Vanderpool and Pagacha left, right, Vanderpool. Matchy Vanderpool wins stage two. Yasper Philipsson is going to pull in this group. But importantly, Carlos Rodriguez loses a load of time on today’s stage. Philipsson in the yellow jersey 32 seconds behind, but in this group is Carlos Rodriguez. Alperson Kernik win two stages in two days. That was a long sprint.
Wow. Wenger in third place. An allout sprint between the current world champion and a former world champion. And Vanderpool has more power. One bike length.

  1. I don't get what Milan is upset about. He is a cry-baby. He should get a carton jaune for trying to physically intimidate Girmay. I saw no fault from Grimy. He was fair.

  2. Jonas and Visma showing that they aren't going to sit around and take punches until the mountains. I think this GC contest is going to be a lot closer than people thought.

  3. Idk man i am not a pog fan. But watching him these first 2 stages dude that man looks so calm and powerful as if when he will make his move it will truly show how far apart he is from the rest.

  4. Pog cannot out sprint Mvdp over flat or hilly stage if he starts behind 100 metres out. He has to be ahead. He should learn from similar narrow defeats to him

  5. Flat finishes aren’t about W/kg but pure horsepower.

Van der Poel can blast ~1350 W for 10 s; Pogacar peaks around 1100 W, so even in perfect draft he’s missing the extra 200 W to come around. Put the same guys on an 8 % ramp and the roles reverse.

  6. hows the photographer taking the pic of injured rider, not helping, i know its his job but where is the humanity, disgusting really.

  7. Is it just me or are the GC contenders normally not at the front like this with a sprint finish? I don't think I've ever really seen that in the first couple of stages.
