I run hoder grips on my trail bmx and they feel nice but I want a change of grips.
On my park bmx I rode S&M hoders(G.I.D) before and they now have a hole in them after 6 months of riding.
I want a more tacky/sticky grip.
I have heard many options on many grips and I’m still not sure.
I do mainly park and street riding on this bike.
I know this question gets asked so many times but there’s just too many options to choose from and it makes me really consider between ever grip out there.
Also what’s the 1 pound difference about between the Odi grips I showed.
Thanks

Odi softs are going to be the closest to the btms.
ODI Longnecks all day…
Nice! Been needing grip recommendations. What are y’alls thoughts on flangeless vs non?
We have ODIs on all 9 of our bikes. The ODI vans on our race bikes, soft longnecks on our park bikes and dirt jumpers
S&M Hoder grips all day(they are ODI)
I’d have to check but I know there is two lengths of ODI longnecks. I’d check the dimensions if you can on them. I’ve bought both and no difference between them.
How are Animal Edwin’s not top choice?
If you like a very thick, firm grip like i do. Federal command grips are my go to now.
ODI is softer compound, nicer to ride but wears out quicker. Edwin’s are a little firmer but awesome
Buy animal Edwin DeLarosa best grips
The ODI longnecks are popular but they get holes in them fast and they make your hands sticky as fuk and not in a good way
ODI XXL’s. you’re welcome.
I had a pair of odi pool float grips and really liked them. Will probably get another pair soon.
Google says –
The ODI Longneck XL (or X-Longneck) is simply a longer version of the classic ODI Longneck grip, offering more grip area and potentially more comfort. While the original Longneck is 135mm long, the XL version is 230mm (9 inches) long.
230mm sounds way too long for the XL, but it’s simply a longer version of the Longneck.
The softs are nice because they feel broken in day one to me. The Hoder grips are basically a thick longneck from what I’ve seen and heard. If you like sticky, the cult vans grips get super sticky. That’s about all I have experience with though. Currently running flanged longnecks.
animal makes another grip, not Edwin that I’ve used and loved for years. theyre thicker and that seems to work well for my hands
