Injured runner, turned Peloton cycler but going crazy and missing being outside. Totally clueless on bikes but was curious if one of these would be “better”
than the other.
I intend to cycle for roughly 90 minutes at a time max but don’t want to drop a ton on an expensive bike until I know if I’ll keep up with it.
Thank you!

Maybe you want a little more relaxed fit bike instead of a tri bike.
As someone who got an old tri bike recently to use as a road bike, I put drops on it and bigger tires, it is squirrelly as hell and I don’t ride it in the city. I’m thinking about swapping the headset bearings to something with more friction. They are designed for you to be in the aero bars and I got some crazy unsettling speed wobbles. It’s fun and making me a better rider, but know what you’re getting into.
