Taking my folding hybrid ‘Mabel’ up to the lovely village of Clive in Shropshire, via one of the longest and steepest routes my old legs have tackled since I began cycling properly again in 2020!

It is worth the pain as it’s a lovely place and has some spectacular views, especially as you make your way towards the Grinshill Rocks and Corbet Woods. The village Church is also a beauty and can be seen for miles around.

Not quite sure of the gradient of the hill I somehow get up in the video, but I remember glancing down and seeing it in double figures at one point! whichever way you choose to where involves a good slog of a climb, all good fun!
