Trying to get back into riding and picked up a used hybrid. The tire walls are cracked. Is there a product I can use to help repair or do I need new tires?
I’d recommend swapping tires, tubes, and rim strip. Start fresh and have no worries, hesitations, or second guesses.

Yeah new tires, likely new tubes also. Overinflate the tubes separate from bike and see how they react.
Rim strips are an important factor as well. A set of velox cloth rim strips are nice but appropriately sized gorilla tape works just as well. The 5 cent rubber band types belong in the garbage whether or not they are new or old tbh. (Protects your tube from the sharp edges inside rim – spoke holes and vent holes)
