A podium on stage 1 🎉
After a difficult stage with unrelenting climbing from the start Martin cracked his rim and had to take some time to fix it.
Chasing back all through the high mountain trails they caught up 4 places in the final descent to finish 3rd +2:39 to the top step.
[Music] [Music] Yeah, I would say average stage for us. I mean, first part was pretty good. We didn’t lose too much time, which was our plan, to the top of the first climb. And just in that moment, Martin hit the rock with the front wheel. Um, I mean, that’s racing. We wanted to try to play our cars in the downhill. Luckily, we managed, but lost quite some time there and then was all up by ourselves. Ladies and gentlemen, in third place for singer KTM Racing, it’s Martin F.
