Hi, I’m Dave Chloe from Jay Love Bicycles and you’re joining me from the back of the Proender store where I’m going to talk to you about this new RJ AM64 custom build. So, for those who don’t know, the Proender store is our new home and it’s in the middle of a big renovation. We filmed a series following the journey of putting this place together ready for us to move in. So, make sure you subscribe to the channel where you’ll keep up to date with all the videos as they happen. Those who don’t know, AM64 stands for additive manufacturing with 64 titanium. In other words, 3D printing. So, this is an RJ AM64. So, it’s the RJC model from our range with 3D printed titanium head tube, seat tube, lug, dropouts, and bottom bracket. The big benefit of that is we can make one at a time. We can make them bespoke to the owner. So, in this case, a good friend of mine, Lyndon, this is his new bike. Lyndon came to see us for a bike fit on our ID match fitting jig and we took those contact points off the jig and we used bike CAD to design the frame millimeter perfect for Lyndon. Following that process, we then designed the 3D printed lugs and adjust them accordingly for Lynden’s custom geometry. During the visit to our showroom, we talked about how to add a really nice personalized touch to this bike without being over the top. So, in this case, Lyndon’s one of his favorite colors is blue, and he really liked the midnight blue from these Crisk King hubs. So, we took the approach of less is more, and we just did a nice custom color on the fork. So, it’s got a matte finish to match the matte crising hubs, and then the Envy logo just in gloss just as a really nice little touch. Lyndon’s opted for a pave finish and he’s gone for the standard graphics that we would normally do rather than the deco graphics which are the kind of slightly minimalized graphics. Lyndon really likes what we what we already do. So, um yeah, really nice build. This is number 13 of 50 of the RJ AM64. So, naturally the 13 is turned upside down as a nod to tradition and for good luck. Lyndon’s gone for a nice personalized bead blasted graphic for the top tube. Um, I’m not going to say what it says, but we’ll pop it up on screen. It’s just a small nod to Lyndon’s love of cars. Of course, we’ve gone envy in route so we can hide all the cables, which is what we always do with the AM64 builds. Era carbon seat post, Brook C13 saddle. The wheels are ERA AR46 carbon wheels. We build them in house. They’ve been laced into Lynden’s Midnight Chris King hubs, which just look really, really spot on. We’ve linked it all together with a Chris King midnight bottom bracket and Altegra Di2 group set. That pretty much wraps up the spec for Lynen’s new RJ AM64 custom build.
