We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet – but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. [Music] what’s happening guys I hope we’re all good out there and welcome back to another video So we are currently sitting in Aken at the minute and today we are going to be cycling towards Luxembourg We are at Aken train station just now and this is the start of a cycle route that goes through Belgium It goes in between Belgium and Germany and it ends in Luxembourg It’s 125 km long It’s on an old disused railway line which has all been tired over So there’s no cars There’s no traffic on it apart from bikes and people out walking and stuff So that is our plans We’re going to be heading down to Luxembourg It’s going to take a couple days to do it but the weather just now we’ve got a nice blue sky and it’s quite windy and this morning it was raining quite a bit So that all being said I’ll show you where we’re sitting Two beautiful trees There’s a lot of poke out drinking and we’re going to be heading in through that tunnel I think it is where the where the cycle track starts Nala’s just down here having a we nap I’ve just got the blanket over her just now and keep her nice and shaded from the sun But yeah guys that all being said we better start cycling cuz it is now half past 1 So let’s go It’s quite windy Oh hey Right I do believe that is a psychopath over there Hi girl Oh hello We got Nala a new bed I’ll show you it later on So she’s sitting up a we bit more There we go So she’s not stretching her neck as much when she’s looking out We’re going this way Beautiful area This a cafe there Shame it’s closed I think the summer holidays as well starting in the next couple of weeks So it’s going to get really quite busy I’d imagine Everyone out going on their summer holidays [Music] It’s a beautiful psychopath in between these trees We’ve got the weha either side When we were back there going through the town and just coming out it was really quite windy So we’re getting a we bit shelter in here Oh it must be a building site over there because it is dusty Stop and have a drink already I see how you’re comfy Yeah Look how she’s sitting in the basket Nice and relaxed down there Oh wa Anyway we are now cycling by the side of this railway line So got a couple of old carriages just here An old train tower Be pretty cool if you can get a sort of Airbnb or a hotel carriage That’d be cool Then we are going down here Every angle we seem to cycle into Seems like we’re cycling into the wind There’s a windy windy windy day I’m going to try and find a bench just to pack up Give Nala a we walk Let her stretch her legs a wee bit So we’ll update you when we sit down Good girl She’s enjoying sniffing the benes So then banan where are we Guess we’re there Right That we do So I think we’ve actually crossed into Belgium Yeah I’m going butterfly Oh and he’s away Off he goes Hey Yeah Yeah Yeah mommy girl There you go

Yeah Wow That’s the sign there So we’re leaving Germany And this is us officially into Belgium We’re no one for long though We’re just doing like a we loop and then we’re back into Germany again And over we go traffic signs with the train signs Oh my legs are tired Just s into that headwind all day And we were thinking about camping here Got this old bench here but we got a few problems So the drive there It’s quite windy so it’s kicking up all the stir all the time I don’t really want to be getting my mouth full of that Problem number two I was going to have my mango hummus for dinner tonight but it’s just all went congealed in my bag So we’re going to have to go down into town to get something I only bought that yesterday and it’s not even been that hot today and it’s went like water So and another problem we’re almost out of water That’s the last what I’ve got I’ve not seen any water stations anywhere And the fourth problem staying here is there’s a lot of used drugs on the floor So there’s loads of tin foil and then there’s firecrackers as well So obviously folk come and hang about here later on at night So our plans there’s a we town just down this hill We’re going to go for a we cycle and just see what we see Hopefully there’s a bed and breakfast or something like that Just a we cheap one where we can just jump in for the night Anyway that all being said let’s go stairs I’m going right So we are through the brown doors upstairs number 35 Lovely Nice hotel Didn’t boot my shin off my pedal though That’s another cut I’m going to have Right 35 So right I’ll give you a we quick tour of the house Bananas on inside out But through here we have got the dining room we TV small couch a bathroom in here is absolutely melting this place Nal’s hair on the lens It is roasting There’s not even any heaters on And then in here we have got Nala’s bed Yes we do Oh she’ll take that off Wow Oh big stretch Big stretch Anyway guys good night and we’ll see you in the morning Good morning Right let’s have a little peek and see what the weather’s like Oh beautiful And it looks like there’s no much wind today which is what we want I can’t really be bored sailing into the headwind again Anyway I think Nal’s under the bed Not too sure I heard her meow But anyway I’m going to go across for breakfast just now So let’s go and have a look at that Then I’m going to go for a we swim cuz there’s a swimming pool here And it was too late last night Yeah Now under the bed It was too late last night So we’re going to go for a we swim Good morning Yeah Wow Yes And then we’ll take an hour a walk and then we’ll get on the bike and start cycling So let’s go and check out breakfast There we go That’s the hotel we’re staying in there And breakfast is food here What have we got Typical European breakfast Got some cereals over here Cheese and fruit Lovely Oh that’s nice As far as cheese sandwiches go very nice Nice pool Lovely That’s a hotel just there And then the P just here There’s a warm should be It’s warmer going in some of the water It’s absolutely freezing Oh nice pool though Anyway I’m going to swim about for a wee bit Maybe about 15 20 minutes and then go back to the hotel room So let’s enjoy this Oh yes Big sniff in the bags Big sniff the hotel garden It’s quite nice Got a nice blue sky today And we’ll just take a now walk Have a we sniff about and a we climb What’s that Is that cleaner Byebye Byebye Bye-bye
Bye-bye Right Looks like we’re cycling into a bit of a headwind which is maybe a nightmare cuz it’s up a big hill But once we’re at the top of the hill we should be good So we’ve checked out the hotel It’s now half 10 cuz we gave Na a we walk Put you in the thumb chest have I Hang out the basket there Let’s go Got water filled up We’re all good Cars coming both ways made it to the top of the hill Hello We got microphones and the helmets to talk to each other That’s pretty cool Anyway going through a tunnel here You start getting excited when you see something new But what a beautiful cycle this is I mean we got the ferns and the trees either side No traffic coming down this road and just a beautiful nice smooth cycle path It’s a [Music] Look at Nala how she’s sleeping Well chilling Just in the corner there Nice and comfy Over we go I think we’re just coming up to the border again So we’re going back into Germany Hey what a beautiful day Just stopped here for a we coffee The bikes away over there in the picnic bench Now I was having a we walk We’re not going in there Hey come on This way Camera Just having a we sniff We got a nice we pond just here What was that What was that noise Hey who was that a we cappuccino Now we continue silent again Nala’s just in the basket behind me I put the umbrella up because it really is quite warm again It’s quite cloudy H it’s a we bit windy as well but it’s quite hot Beautiful See if you’re wanting to do this cycle route start in Luxembourg and go back the way because you will not have to pedal once It’s all downhill the other way Someone’s woken up Someone’s woken up Big sniffs Oh big sniffs Put that down There we go Hello Hello Got a we shelter just here So perfect timing for it to start raining We’ll get in here Oh lovely Come here Oh yeah Look at that Look at that tin toe Look at that I’ll even hold that for you That was a nasty we shower there that just came on but luckily we’re right next to one of these So there’s loads of these on the psychopath It’s just like an old train carriage Now having a we sniff down there All right [Applause] What are you saying Excuse me Excuse me Right guys This is our hotel room It’s actually quite nice So we’ve got nice big walk-in shower there The toilets behind the door Um she’s hungry That’s why she’s rubbing on the bags So we’ll do a room tour quickly and get her fed We’ve got a huge fridge Yeah You want lying there Yeah I’m coming Uh two beds there We have to move my bike And hey nice room Let’s have a look at our view Oh yeah The car park All right Not too bad though Not too bad You coming up Where’s my girl Oh big fall Big fall Yeah Scratch Scratch Scratch Scratch Scratch Scratch Scratch Hi guys I didn’t even care I’ve been here before but I didn’t really look at the town’s names when I’m traveling through them So when I was just coming down that hill there now I just recognized the entrance to the town and I thought I’ve been here The plan is to have another look about town And I think it was winter time we came last time cuz I’m pretty sure it was quite quiet Yeah we’ll have a we look about town tomorrow It’s a stunning town It’s a we hidden gem in Germany But um all right let’s get Nala fed Right we are all ready to go out and check out this town I’ve got Nala in the bag just to get down there cuz it’ll take forever to walk down and we’ll let her out from down there So let’s go Israel That’s a beautiful building that’s shut down A wine house Sangria to go That’s where you’d probably find my mom right there and man Julie They love sangria Look at this bit down here You just happy me carrying you girl So picturesque [Applause] Wow Beautiful There we go Let’s have a look at some of the postcards Look how beautiful that is If it focuses Last time I was here actually I bought something out of this shop here A we Highlanding Cow’s head for the van Is it dead Was it that one I’m sure it was that one Oh this is beautiful Hello
Hi Nala’s sniffing about and I don’t know if she can smell the neighborhood cat She’s on the steps there She’s looking for something Look at that old door Hello There’s a dog just up here So I might chuck her back in the bag Lovely We town I’m going to hide one of my weal cats just on that water tower there Yes Going this way Well my plan was to get to the castle today but now seems to want to just rub against this tree It’ll be just stinking a dug piss probably Getting grumpy You getting comfy Girl that’s all the shops closing now And I put Nala back in the bag and she’s just went and lay right down in it So she’s pretty tired So just going to head back to the hotel give Nal her dinner and just let her chill out on the bed So I’ll see you when we’re back there Yo Yo where’d he go Where’d he go Where’d he go Fall Fall over Doof Yeah Yes my girl Right guys We hope you all enjoyed this video and we will see you in the next one Stay safe [Music] full of insects
