Got a new pair of Conti gp5000 Clincher tyres – the stickers are all coming off and there seems to be a lot of ‘extra rubber’ peeling off. Is this normal or there’s something off with the tyres perhaps due to exposure to heat or some other factors when they were shipped?

Completely normal – amounts vary but it’s nothing to worry about.
Some extra rubber in the middle, where the mold halves separate is normal, but this, especially the labels look really bad. Might be that you got a counterfeit. I suggest contacting the seller, if it is a reputable source, or Conti directly.
The excess rubber isn’t a big deal. The label coming off is quite odd. Can’t hurt to send a Pic of this off to Continental.
Amazon purchase by chance?
GP5000’s have stickers?
In the first pic, these extra rubber seems normal. I have a continental ultra sport which has similar rubber situation.
The second pic. That looks concerning. Is that a cut? or some sort of peel off?
Flashing is normal with lower end tyres. Non vulcanised labels is a little bit of a red flag
I agree with several of you in that excess rubber is not uncommon but the stickers is definitely a sign of the tires being counterfeit. Contact the retailer with your concerns. Ask for prepaid return label and refund.
