[Music] Hello there folks and welcome to Crystal Motorcycles in Doncaster and welcome to the channel. What have I got for you today? Uh a bit of a legend really. This is the Honda XL 1000 Varadero or certainly in this neck of the woods it was nicknamed the Verid Duckworth. Uh Chris had a few of these back in the day and he always called them his uh the Vera Duckworth. I don’t know why. Anyway, there you go. So yeah, the Honda XL1000 Varado. This one’s fully loaded. Uh it’s a 2009 bike and it’s only got, are you ready for this? 9,348 miles on the clock. So a lovely low mileage one of these cuz these most of these have been around the world five times by now. Uh absolute bulletproof engine. Absolutely fantastic bit of kit. Uh one of the original kind of adventure style bikes if you like from what in the current context of what we know as adventure bikes. Anyway, um as you can see, you’ve got the full luggage on here. So, we’ve got the full jivvy uh pas and top box. I’ll go through all that in a minute. Um so, yeah, we’ve got four service stamps in the bike. It’s a two previous owner bike. 9,348 miles. Before we do anything, I’m going to grab you guys. Frogging me throat today. Grab you guys and uh we’ll have a steady walk around and then we’ll have a startup, etc. So, let me just come over here and grab you guys. So, like I say, 2009 Varadero. And as always, we’re going to start at the back of the bike. Let me uh just adjust that. There we go. Okay, let’s just check out this rear tire for starters. Yeah, in fact, we’ve still got the nobles on it. So, not that old at all, that rear tire. Overall, the bike is a nice clean example. We’ve got standard exhausts and like I say, we’ve got the uh the Jivvy Pas. I’m in focus. Yes, we’ve got the Jivy Pas and the Jivvy top box. It’s the mono key system and you’ve got the back pad on there as well. So, the pillion has got some uh real nice uh padding there on the back. Uh pillion and rider seats are in real nice condition. There’s no rips, no tears. And as we work our way down to the middle of the bike, again, as you can see, this bike’s been really well looked after. You know, like I say, a lot of these Varados have been around the world a few times, but this one certainly is in nice nick, having only covered less than 10,000 miles. We’ve got the large Jivvy full crash bar system up front as well. Paint works lovely. It’s that um it’s like a soft blue. It’s a steely blue type of thing going into the black. All the paint on the tank is really nice. As we come up to the cockpit area, pretty standard. We’ve got the handguards going. Oh, it’s not the camera. We’ve got the handguards going on here. We’ve got a gear indicator. Neither is an ornament in my world, but h it’s got one on anyway. And as we work our way around to the front of the bike, we’ve got the smoke screen from MRA with the uh with the wind deflector there as well. Headlights in nice condition. There’s no damage or cracks or scratches on that. And so, same on the front mud guard. And just checking out this front tire. And again, still got the knobbles on there as well. So, the front tire is relatively new as well. As we come around to this side of the bike, again, it’s just a mirror image of the other side. In condition, you’ve got this really nice big Varadero logo. You got the crash bars, center stand fitted on this bike as well. This is the adjustment for the rear shock. Um, chain sprockets looking decent, Nick. You got a chain guard there as well. So, yeah, everything is where it should be. These are six-speed as well, just to let you know, cuz I know people will. It’s a common question. How many gears has a bike got? Uh, but yeah, this is a six-speed. So, that answers that one. So, let me just chuck you guys down and we’ll have a cheeky start up and uh we’ll kind of go from there. See if I can put the camera back in the correct place. Something like that. So, yeah, let’s have a a start up of this bike. So, this is a car cold startup 2009 XL1000 Varadero. Yeah, sounds lovely. Few baby rivs. That sounds absolutely lovely. That I forgot we got a pocket on the side here on the V on this model. So yeah, just got a little glove box there as well. So what else have I got with the bike? We’ll do that bit next. Um, got a full set of spare keys. So, spare ignition key, spare, uh, all spare keys for the boxes as well. We have a owner’s manual. We have a service book. It’s got four stamps in the book as well. What else have we got? We have got uh, all kinds of bits and bobs from when the racking was fitted. We’ve got the like the spare bolts and that kind of stuff. Uh receipts for it. We’ve also got a massive pile of certificates going quite far back actually. Uh so yeah, good pile of compliments the mileage correctly. Um and last but not least, got HPI report which indicates the bike is all clear from any uh wrongdoings, shall we say? you know, it’s on the registers, not stolen, no finance, etc., etc. So, everything is present and correct on this bike. So, the bike will come with a full MOT. It will also go through the workshop for a full checkover, and it will also come with a warranty with ourselves, and that is a 3-month warranty as well. Now, I can offer finance on this vehicle, uh, zero deposit up to 5 years. Uh, we can also offer nationwide or international delivery as well. and I would consider a part exchange on this bike.
