  1. What appalling cycling from that guy. I thought initially he was going to be good, but you had him pegged right from the start Mikey.

  2. Mikey, have you spoken to Jeremy Vine about all the submissions you have made that have resulted in NO ACTION? The most prominent one being your last video of the HGV driver. At the very same time (March 2024) your submissions were being ignored, the Met Police and CPS were actively prosecuting a cyclist on a BASELESS charge of cycling without due care, even though the phone driver he reported only received a written warning! His story is not an isolated one. A few years ago a London cyclist was prosecuted in court for cycling on the pavement, where he had been riding on a shared use path, but strayed over the white line for a few meters to avoid an obstruction. Around the same time, another cyclist reported a driver for an offence on the roundabout below the New Kent Road flyover. The Police response was, they would not prosecute the driver but may prosecute the cyclist for the way he entered the shared use cycle path. WHAT IS WRONG AT MARLOWE HOUSE? Who makes these decisions to ignore phone driving HGV drivers, but pursue a cyclist for a trumped up offence! Perhaps Jeremy could pursue the OpSnap managers and uncover their MO?

BTW – IMO when you don't receive an email with a reference number, this also = NO ACTION TAKEN

  3. Even if the evidence was a bit marginal for mobile phone it was clearly driving without due care and attention! Crazy riding by that cyclist though, utterly selfish!

  4. I usually don't care about cyclists running lights, since lights are car infrastructure, cyclist do not need them, but yeah, that was atrocious riding!

  5. The cyclist, going through the red light, guess him and other cyclist, could easily find them self with hefty fines. Seen a post on google, that London police were going about London, and on bikes. They were on the look out for cyclist's going through red lights, and quite a few cyclist were caught. So google was saying these cyclist were fined around £100, now thats good, but would say, it serves the cyclists for going through red lights

  6. The cyclist showed the best and worst of cycling,he was wearing a hi-viz looked over his shoulder and signalled before moving, then lets himself down by going through a red light cutting up another cyclist and just missing pedestrains on the crossing.

  7. Do you have to wait for a prosecution before posting the video? Something about 'might affect an ongoing investigation' or is that only for more serious offences?

  8. If ever I go back to city cycling I think I’ll have a Hi Vis printed “Warning, I stop for red lights!”
Just so people can expect the unexpected!
I wish we could de-escalate this driver cyclist war.

  9. I was hit by a speeding cyclist when I was 12 years old. Never forgotten it. That was over 60 years ago. If I was struck by a cyclist today, I would probably end up dead. Furious cycling is NEVER right, and excusing it is never right either. Just saying.

  10. Everything about the Brompton rider was terrible. Fighting the gear and struggling to hold his line as a result. Why? Just change gear!

Looking down as he rides. Because he's struggling with the gear. Change gear.

Not indicating that he was pulling to the right. Because he was fighting the gear and couldn't take his hands off the bar. Change, bloody, gear!

To the running the red light, through crossing pedestrians and narrowly missing another idiot red light jumper coming the other way.

Just appalling. But… he did have a helmet and hi-viz on. Safety first!

    IQs are plummeting daily.

  11. Another bad cyclist shown up, as well as another bad motorist. These videos are fair, and this is why you should support Cycling Mikey (instead of crying about being caught).

  12. Why did the cycling Mikey even entertain the thought of NOT staying back at the light behind the HGV? He might gain a few seconds if he was lucky or lose his life if he was unlucky!

  13. It's about time cyclists were held responsible for their horrible riding and obvious lack of accountability. I guess it's the antiquated law system we have together with half-baked magistrates and judiciary system. The van driver is just another selfish prat.

  14. He didn’t notice the green light and he wouldn’t have noticed a pedestrian either. About time these idiots were banned and made to re take their tests. Awful cyclist, maybe he’s trying to get a Darwin Award.

  15. Fascinating to see we all have the same rule or law breakers everywhere. As if it was cool or something. Is it so hard to drive more careful and of course slower? You got anything more important to accomplish in life? What a phenomena. I wonder how it all started.

  16. Seriously? The van driver shouldn’t be on his phone but at least he’s not moving.
The cyclists actually run a red light, narrowly missing a pushchair which is far more dangerous.
And the title says the driving is worse!
    You are an idiot.

  17. You’ve got to know the rules to break them! Typical idiots attached to their stupid phones.
Good work Mikey! Always with you mate! ❤️
