I got something caught in my front wheel, went over the handle bars, broke a spoke, nothing too crazy of a crash.
Simple enough, replaced the spoke. But now the front wheel is almost touching the frame of the bike and the balance/weight distribution of the bike feels completely off.

Any idea what has happened and how I fix it?

Thanks!

Looks like your fork is bent. Dont ride it anymore its not safe unfortunately its time for a new fork

  2. The energy of throwing you over the bars has bent and possibly cracked your fork legs or fork crown.

The frame looks okay but you probably need new forks.

  3. Check your fork. I bet the energy of the crash bent the fork backwards, so now your front wheel is in the wrong place relative to the intended geometry of the bike.

More importantly than the bike geometry, though, is that a bent fork now has metal fatigue and may fail in a way that would likely be very dangerous to the rider.

If your fork is bent, don’t ride on it any more. A replacement fork is a lot cheaper than an ambulance ride.

Your fork is hella bent. It is trash.

I would also very carefully check if your frame got deformed, are there any cracks in the down tube? Is the headset intact?

  5. Either fork is bent, or head tube is cracked. New fork may be 100 or so, cracked head tube is rip bike
