little ride about on a sunny evening
Hello everybody. Welcome back to the channel. I’m just out and about on the old ebike today. I’m having a pedal at the moment. I’m in the back streets of Jwick. So this is my view. It’s the posh park J by the way, not the bit they show on the telly all the time where gets all the negative publicity. Anyway, I’m going to head down to the seafront now and I’m going to pedal along down into Clapton. Have a little mooch around. See what’s going on. So, hope you enjoy the video. So, this little junction I’m at now is where it sort of comes out of to the state show and goes into the what do they call that and goes into what they call um normal part of Jwick. This ain’t the Brooklyn. This is the bit before. Not 100% sure what it’s called, but you know what I mean. So, it’s a little future belt. To be honest with you, though, see how is this down here? Not actually that bad. Mixture of everything down here. Anyway, straight down that road there is the seafront. That’s where I’m heading. It’s old ebike. Getting me about everywhere. Oh, see. There we are. Welcome to the seafront. So, I’ve got about a mile down the pedal and I’ll be at the actual front bicycle. I like to ride my bicycle. I like to ride my bike. Like to ride my bike anywhere I like just get it in front of me. So it’s nice and calm today. So this is one of the old Marello towers. Go past a couple of these. Got one more just as we hit Clton. Another one set back as well down here. These are some kind of old forks defensive things. Go back to one of the wards. Don’t ask me what ones. ain’t got a clue. But there is some information on them. Anyway, I’m going to jump to the lower bit down here. Pedal down the other cycle. Right. Nice day down here. Old seagulls are coming out looking for food. Oh, it’s a se. So this is the main seafront here. It’s nearly half past 6 at night and it’s still busy down here. It’s been absolutely roasting a stalker of the day. There a lot of people packing up to go home now. But yeah, might get in there myself. That’s Oops. Didn’t realize I was on Zoom. Bit busier than the same bot here. What did I say? That’s what I was saying. [Music] [Music] Banana sauce. Right, [Music] let’s pedal up the hill and go to the town center. See what’s going on down here. I don’t want to bite. Catch you. Put the light down here. [Music] So this is Clton Town Center. Here’s our past 7 at night. So, not expecting it to be too busy. A little mooch about or cycle about, I should say. See what going on down here. Good thing about being on a push bike instead of the motor bike or the van see more stuff creep about pretty quick. Another seagull. All right. So, you go through freedom as well, has to admit. So, this is a bit of a chip shop. Let’s go down the main bit. Subway. Yeah. So, Clapton Town Center. Bit quiet tonight. Few pett in the town square. Nothing really going on. Seagull. Wow. Let’s go back down the main track.
It’s all we really got arcade wise, this little road. I say we got a pier and some along the seafront as well. Now Tom Peppers the other side of the road spoons back up the top. Yeah. Got the old war memorial gardens. Always looks nice. lot of people just enjoying the sea. [Music] Fish and chips on a safe front. That’s the way to do it. It’s a nice drive this high point up the top. You see down there at the top of like the cliff pit quiet down here as well, so it’s all good. Anyway, I’m going to head back down towards Jwick Way where I come from or I say where I come from. I come through that way. I’m nearby there, but I can see from it to be honest with you. And I’m just rolling down the hill at 15 mph as we ride on the P or Pardon, whatever you want to call it. And it’s by the sea. Coming up to the Toby Carvery. Went there three times last week for breakfast. So I was out and about in the area, but back to normal now. Life B station just over there. You can see that with that sun, but back on the beach. Just coming out of Clapton now to the end. All right. Having a beer there. Got this mile cycle path down to Jwick. Now nice little drive about Clton Seafront along the beach up to the pier. Little moot through the town. This is what I do after I had my dinner. But just get me out for half an hour in the sun and too not to stand indoors and sit still. So keeps me out of trouble as we’re heading on down towards Jwood next. Doing a comfortable 16 m an hour. I’ve got the bike set on good setting tour. Hope you can see though. I’m not Come on down here on a motor bike. All right. Been out of my bike earlier. I got a moped. I’ve got a big bike. I’ve got a couple of big bikes. I’ve got a 650 which is my like runaround SV. I’ve got 1200 as well, which is a Suzuki bandit. which I’m getting shot of. Don’t want to get like a Tax Scooter next. Something bit more easy to drive with a bit of storage so I can start traveling more. I can see J coming up about 100 yards in front of me. Jaywick, we are here. Nice down here. Despite the negative press it gets, it’s a nice area. I like it. The people are decent and they’re happy and they got community, which is good. This is the Broadway. This is like the high street bit of Jaywick. That used to be an arcade at one time. We got our fly suites and Turkish restaurant premier amusements and kebab Chinese and a cup. What more could you want? Going to cut through this road. I say just come down that way to give you a little tour. Yeah, it’s nice here today. If we move to around Colchester later, might jump on a motor bike and drive down there. Don’t know yet. So anyway, I’m about 10 minutes from home. Going to put the camera away. Get home, have a shower, cup of tea, and do whatever I do from there. Anyway, thanks for watching the video. Spec.
