  1. Are you sure about the numbers? As far as i know no taxes have to be paid until you earn more than ~12.000€ a year. 520€ per month is the border for health insurence.

Atleast thats how it works for me as a german native.

  2. So there's several factors at play, your income defines how much taxes you pay, your working hours are limited to 20h/week for the semester and 40h/week for the semester break. The hour limitations are dictated by the health insurance regulations but even with 20h/week for minimum wage you're going to get over the mentioned tax free amount and you'll have to pay reduced taxes (which can already count towards your social security payments).
Lots of companies actually hire working students from fitting fields and you can get lots of hands on working experience.

  3. Come to Portugal to study. Our universities are also free, it's cheaper here and, if you come from a Portuguese speaking country, we have vacancies specifically just for you.

  4. You can make a deal with the boss in germany, you get paid half half, which means half bank half cash so you can be legal working but half working hours anyway

  5. Im in berlin people are not friendly at all. Germany is not good for asian students. Germans treat asian students as a illegal immigrants mainly from india. So people dont go to Germany.
