Joe Timmsiola returns today for more Pro Cyclist Mode gameplay on Pro Cycling Manager 25!
Today we race against one of the best cyclists ever to live, Tadej Pogacar. The modern day goat who we have aspirations of defeating one day at races like the Tour de France. He doesn’t know about Joe Timmsiola yet, but after today maybe he’ll know the name.
We take on various bike races, racing in Mallorca, France and the region of Valencia. Can we continue our hot start to the season for Burgos-BH?

joe Timiola has started his season two as a pro cyclist and boy oh boy it’s got off to a good start so go back and watch the previous episode if you missed it because we came third place at the Trafo Serah Tramontana an epic race and we’re focusing much of our season on this early block of racing in February we have Valenciana coming up Hyen and Lucia and Grand Camino so plenty of racing to get through including the final race here in Morca let’s get to it and I hope we’re given more of a leadership status into Palentha after our great showing in the previous race but oh my words oh my word he’s here the man himself Tad Paga is racing in Morca can you just imagine if we finish above Pagatcha don’t think it’s going to be possible but let’s give everything oh my word there he is there he is tad Pagatcha in the Pelaton we’re riding just ahead of the man himself so we’re going to make our move and try to bridge to the front we already have 50 seconds to make up no worries though we make it into the front group of eight riders and we need 110 km today let’s get it done we could be in trouble though on the Cole Dunlader only 54 seconds to the Pelson surely led by Pagacha’s UAE we’ve done 81k we need 30 more the Pelaton though are closing so quickly now yep here it is we’re going to be the final rider surviving from the breakaway but we are officially caught by the Pagatcha UE Le Pelaton couple of attacks but we’re 20k short anyway race situation we’re just trying to survive in this group for as long as we can i think we’re about to go out the back though further up the road in this group oh my word they’re absolutely flying there goes Pagatcha he’s gone up the roads goodbye Tad and no heroics today we’re dropped from the Pelaton with 16k to go what a rider 1.8k to go our first time racing against Tad Pagatcha and he’s going to show us why he’s the absolute best tade Pagacha wins here in Morca solo no one can come close to Tad Paga over 30 seconds clear here in Morca that was quite the sight to see we get a top 10 though with Jose Emanuel Diaz and Timola down in 38th place and only three points so we have to wait for that level eight we’ve headed to France though for the Grand Prix to Kista Damas let’s see who are the favorites today axel Laurance of Inos at least there’s no Pagatra on the start line and we’ve only got a minus one day and we’re given the role of teammate so we’ll be doing some work in the pelon our work is done then 24k out of 20 done that should take us to level eight at the end of this race anyway I’m protecting Eleno 71 sprints 74 acceleration now maybe he can win today and we have literally only just survived in the chasing group here five riders did attack maybe the boys can do it come on Eleno we’re nowhere here though under the final kilometer for Gundes in a good position for us none of our guys competing for the win though looks like Jordan Labros is just going to beat Dorian Gdon but we did our work and survived in the pelaton as well you can’t really ask much more our teammates though didn’t deliver in that finale but oy oi here we go the nine points we needed to finally achieve that elusive level eight come on and at this level we do get a crucial improvement of attributes or potential we could take the climber upgrade and move to 76 mountain i’m not going to do that though instead we’re going for time trial up to 63 65 prologue we get a flat stat increase as well i think it’s worth it with the cobblestone upgrade as well remember I’m not trying to build a pure climber i want to build a well-rounded rider that can win all five monuments and all grand tours as well so I’ll take that happily thank you very much and I’m stuck here between two skills either willpower or super leader but I think we did have trouble last season with our race day conditions particularly at the end of the year and willpower will help us twice throughout the season to turn the tide and have a good race day when we’re expected to have a bad one anyway we’ve officially arrived at the first stage race of our season here in Valencia couple of days for the punches to start a couple of sprint days as well but stage four is the big GC day with some uber steep gradients we’re here alongside the likes of Hugo but Carlos Garcia Piana it’s his objective so he’s going to be in great form but oh my words he’s back tade Pagacha is back we’re racing him again here in Valencia jar Almeida here as well for UAE oh my words i think Florian and Lipovitz will take the other podium place so it’s a race for fourth place for the rest of the start list anyway you don’t need me to tell you that Tad Paga is the favorite today for stage one now we’ve been given the role of Barader by our manager but I’m not really feeling that i have to say I kind of want to stay in the Pelaton for now and that’s especially the case with our teammates relaying right on the front of the pelaton we have four riders relaying here and I have no idea why i don’t think I’ve ever seen Tad Paga sat so far back in the Pelaton he is miles back in this group look how far back he is tad are you feeling okay but when the time comes of course he is here the desert das pal climb begins paga literally fifth wheel in the group i’m just going to try and follow the attacks if they come plet winding up maybe Pagatcha is about to attack there he goes there he goes he’s gone oh my word pagata attacks look how far up the road he is already no one can get near that man and oh my word he has 45 48 50 seconds already that is absolutely crazy he has 1 minute 15 by the top of that climb unbelievable this is definitely a race for second place so 2K to go pagatcha has only 1k to go he’s about to win here today i’ll try and grab Maida’s wheel into the final kometer shut up David pagatcha wins today we’re going to finish in the GC group behind but Pagatcha puts the GC to bed already the man is simply unstoppable 12th place for Joe Timiola today but it’s not about him it’s all about Tad Paga 48 seconds clear what a rider another puncher’s day today and another day with Tad Paga as the favorite but I do think maybe the likes of Danny Van Pppel could beat him in this one but nice to see we’ve now been given the co-leership role in the team oh no Timiola crashes timiola crashes but we do get back on our bike oh boy I panicked for a second there we should get back in easily with Kahar Raal bringing us back panic over we are back in the Pelaton more attacks going here pagatcha may be getting involved so I need to follow this i need to be there to follow this or at least cover it here we go we stay in the wheel 9k to go pagatcha still in the group i’ll take his wheel for now anyway four and a halfk to go we do have a solo attacker here i think it’s Tizer up the road i don’t think he’s going to hold on though i’m in Pagatcha’s wheel is anyone going to catch that man maybe not capesky goes we’re staying on Pagatcha’s wheel here into the final 2K there’s Van Pppppel tiza still up the road only 15 seconds for him into the final kilometer caviarans does join us we’re going to sprint into the finale but Tizer wins what a breakaway attack for him we’re going to again finish in the front group marco Tiza what a win beating Paga and the like anyway we again survive in the front that’s all we’re doing for now ahead of the next day definitely for the sprinters meti probably the fastest man here and again as a co-leader our job is just to get through today unharmed and the breakaway has gone up the road including Hector Alvarez who has signed for the Portuguese team Anicolor very interesting move but we have the team here so you know what let’s try something on the Puerto de Alberta very steep for a couple of kilometers let’s try and push it over the top here so here we go we’re pushing the likes of Pagatcha and UAE under pressure an Uno reverse card for Pagatcha over the top up to 95 timiola in a great position here we’ve dropped some riders let’s see if we can create some splits there we go 47 riders in this front group right now that’s it that’s the pelon right there continue pressing guys come on so with 79 riders making the front group is it worth pressing on i’m not really sure and here you go the catch is made we have been caught peloson back together at least we had some fun I suppose but I’ve put our sprinter Cavia Sans on Moscetti’s wheel i think he’s the man to beat today he has a great lead out meanwhile we’re just making sure we’re staying in a good position 2k to go cavia Sans really could challenge for this sprint I believe come on Cavia on the wheel of Mosceti maybe not challenge for it but a good position hopefully he’s blocked in entirely he won’t be competing for the victory today milan Fratan gets the win on stage three no GC changes today but Milan Fratan is the fastest sprinter we’ve been keeping our powder dry ahead of this absolute beast of a stage paga of course is the favorite so many UEE riders are here as well i think Ja Ma and Florian Lipovitz will finish on the GC podium the question is can we finish fourth place to be honest I’ll be very happy with a top 10 place in the GC away we go then but this is not the start we wanted a minus one day that could be costly because looking at the gradients we have coming up the outdoer up to almost 18% absurd and well of course UE setting up shop two control on the fronts lots of riders trying to join the breakway including the goat Balcommer they’re all over the road though anyway four riders at the front right now they do have four minutes on the pelon though we do need to be aware of the pace increasing good job we were aware there because we’ve had a split in the pelaton and 53 riders have gone clear there’s the gap there mama on the front of the second group oh my word 80 riders caught out we’re positioned right next to Tad no stress for Timola and Bil Bao has now completely taken over on the front it’s Bahrain relaying ahead of UEI oh my word is Bil Bao about to beat Paga 21k to go the climb is about to begin it’s a very narrow road i’m not in the best position not the worst either though but that could be costly but starting well further back than Paga and the favorites let’s go up to 88 and try and push forwards but this is absolute chaos on this road right now where’s Apparitio get to the front my man get to the front up to 95 if you can tim up to 90 let’s press on who’s attacking it’s Florian Lipovitz oh my word lipovitz is 30 seconds right now on Pagatcha who’s being led out by Joah Almeida right now we’re trying to catch up and just stay in this group to be honest it’s the three riders I anticipated coming to the four lipovitz versus Pagatcha and Almeida pagatcha still on his teammates wheel we’re further back in this group but only 500 meters to go we should stay in this Pelaton and on a minus one day that’s a very good ride by Joe Timiola we stay in this group just about over the top decala and Arabar are done we now have Aparicio to help us on this climb 25 riders in this group that kicker to the line is going to be very difficult but Paleo will bow buddy he was pacing all day long with his team all for no reason how embarrassing pagatcha and Almeida have just caught Lipovitz up the road and they’re stalling actually only 20 seconds now with 3k to go could we maybe even steal a stage win here i highly doubt that but they could be caught up the road let’s see 2k to go let’s go up to 92 aparicio doing some wonderful work here for Timiola up to 95 pagatoa kicks away of course he’s going to win as well let’s get in Aparicio’s wheel he can go up to 95 carry us to the line my friend please pagatcha is going to take victory no surprises beating a valiant effort by Floren Lipovitz but I think we’re going to finish in this group behind i hope this will all be on one time actually we do survive in the GC because we are given the same time all the way down to 37th place but Almeida Lipovitz and Pagatcha in a different league with Pagatcha in a completely different galaxy so GC wise we’re in ninth place now lots of riders on the same time as us but on countback we’re doing pretty well can we maybe improve on that position in the final stage well that’s going to be very tricky because it’s a very short stage for the sprinters most likely into Valencia let’s see but the Lafrron Terra climb is about to begin up to 13% gradients shall we attack on this climb and see what happens pagata may be a little far back in this group though now is our time tima on the counterattack past Yonas Rich let’s go can he follow us the German surely he can’t we are absolutely flying today tim Ziola solo on the Lafronta climb we’ve only got 50 seconds and they’re chasing us pretty aggressively behind as well but 40k to go descending now we have a minute on the Pelaton which is splitting behind maybe this was not such a bad idea it would be great to hold on to the intermediate sprints in Melana where we could get some bonus seconds that’s not going to happen though we’re about to be caught by the pelaton which has regrouped well at least we had some fun and showed Poggy what we can do but I am glued to the wheel of Tal Pagatcha into this finale noah Hobs going Pagatcha thinking about sprinting for this stage we’re absolutely cooked for energy who’s going to win this one volsheide Van Pppel Kiko Galvan the sprinter who was so good at Lancawi last year all up there danny Van Pppel though is going to beat Galvan today I believe and Timola is going to get a solid place here in the GC but of course no stopping Tad Pagatcha here in Valencia he actually was in that front split with the sprinters in that finale we couldn’t hold his wheel and Pagatcha he wins the GC by a mile and eighth place for us in the top 10 i’m very happy with that to be honest even though we’re on the same time as literally 34th place but we certainly learned what it’s like to race against Tad Pagatcha today and our performances giving us 32 points for the various classifications but before going to the final race of today’s episode I do want to talk about our training i have been focusing on stage racing of course because I want to improve our time trial and mountain at the same time but we have another big weakness basically our punch and our sprint is so pathetic right now we’re never going to win races like this we can stay at the fronts but at the end we have no chance so let me know in the comments down below what area should Joe Tiola level up in next anyway time for the final race of today’s episode and one of my favorite races of course that being the classic Hayen we did this in our rookie season last year we came about 60th I think and thankfully mercifully no Tad Paga on the start line but I reckon a very open race based on this start list and apparently the game does not know this is one of my favorite races we get a minus one today come on Tinsiola only 81 riders on the start line though so I still want that top 10 here we go carlos Garcia Piona attacking for the team i’m glad we have a rider up the roads and we’re currently setting a fake tempo faking the other teams out on the front of the pelaton letting Carlos Garcia Piona go because we’re trying to get towards that 30k objective well we’re entering the cobbles in perfect position about fifth wheel in this group let’s just stay here for as long as we can again then the next climb begins and Timiola right at the front of the pelaton positioning perfectly today oh boy we’re going to see splits here i’m sure we need to move up in this group we’ve slipped back in this group throughout this climb getting blocked in by riders cracking this is not good and we’ve missed the front split here they’ve gone the leaders have gone we need to rely on these chasers right now and we need to hope that someone has the strength inos are here I think with their full team hopefully they bring us back so let’s not panic let’s stay here the leaders are just ahead and they are stalling up the road so I think we will come back here and that was the right play not to rush and we’re going to come back on we have one solar attacker that’s Stefano Oldani group has rejoined oh big crash big crash just ahead who was that going down oh damn it’s Paul Sexas the wonder kid from France and what’s this olive odani’s teammate has attacked and caught him no teamwork going on in UEE as always and now Salair’s attacking behind what are UEI doing look at Mark trying to bring in his two teammates up the roads anyway here we go only 6k to go it’s Cair with Thomas Silva on his wheel we’re going to try maybe getting the wheel of Nairo man shall we do that shall we do that nope we’re spending way too much energy doing that up to 85 let’s see where we finish can we maybe counter if we can get through here maybe we can srano looks pretty cooked i’ll try a little kick with Timola let’s keep going but a long way to go in this race and we’re pretty cooked slows down though slows down Gualdi who went down in that crash alongside Sexass coming to the four we’re absolutely cooked we’re going to get a top 20 here though sexass is dropped leonard is dropped as well can we hold on to this Pelaton we can only 2K to go but we’re completely done and there you go we’ve cracked with 1K to go but who’s going to win the sprints up the road thomas Silva the Uruguan champ beats Torres and Marty and we did everything we could today to hold on crossing the line in 18th place every single year I feel like I like this race more and more tim Ziola in the top 20 today and we fought really hard with some good riders here but next year season 3 maybe that’s the season we take victory in the Kaska Hyen anyway guys in the next one we will be heading to two stage races in one episode both in Spain and Lucia and Old Grand Camino which is of course our big early season objective so smash that like button down below if you’re enjoying season 2 of Joe Timiola hit subscribe if you’re new to the channel as well and I’ll see you guys in the next one

What area should Joe Timmsiola work on next? 🤔
Where exactly does "oh my word" come from? Never heard that phrase before and since i started watching you i'm hearing it a lot 😀
Loving the series so far. Would also love to see another Uno-X career or with a similar team, if you have the time.
You should definitely get some kind of sprint.
It makes everything much more fun!
A local Belgian reporter was caught saying "Joe Timmsiola will never make it in the world of cycling", any thoughts on that?
I like how it's almost impossible to see what stats you get upgraded to when you get past 72
Maybe do a pure climber lvl up again? that usally comes wits a good acceleraton bonus too.
Team Jupiler 🍻😂
It is no “Sexas” it’s “Seixas” it is a Portuguese surname not English one. 😂
Another one, OMG
Jaén top 3 next year 🙏
interesting fact, yesterday Lucas Lopes became the Portuguese national time trial champion under-23. I think now Joe Timmsiola has to do the same 🙂
I would suggest the Technique Skill Upgrades, they are great especially The Last Upgrade on Technique, it gives you basically 100 Downhill (you can start dropping people on the Downhill with that Skill).
I think you should prioritere a bump in Puncheur or Northern classics first, then stage racing the next time. Many of the eraly races on the calender are on hilly terrain and you need to be able to challenge for podium places.
Yeah, worth upgrading your sprint every now and again. Will need to if you want to tick the monuments off. Very enjoyable series so far, much appreciated
wich camera settings are you using timm>>??
I think Northern classics are a must train if you want to win Roubaix, it'll also give you a boost in Hills/Sprint attribute. You won't be able to win roubaix if you don't have at the Bare minimum 76 cobbles and flat
Keep working on cobblestone. In my pro cyclist career i lost about 10 minutes in the TDF on the only cobblestone stage (55 stat). Despite winning 5 stages and KOM I never made that time up. But made a respectable top 10 finish!
Dude, techinque skill is OP in this game, you should do that first…
You definitely need better hill stat. Arguably the best stat in the game
Jaen the 6th monument
I usually relay with my rider at the start of the race to bring him in front. Then sit up. If you then match pace of the peloton, usually you should be able to stay in the front of the group and not be caught off guard.
When are there going to com a video up?
