Hello guys, I am dealing with my bike and thinking about going to bike repair shop. Wanted to give it try here before. Week or 2 earlier I started to hear creaking when I pedal hard and in certain angle – around 2 o'clock. I retightened and cleaned pedals, checked every bolt in frame, chcecked cranks etc. Yesterday I realized that when I lift bike there is slight wobble. I investigated and found out that wobble is coming from place where frame is attached to wheel on side of derraileur. Thru axle is tight but when I loosen it and then tighten – problem is fixed for a second but when I play around a bit and put force around area it would come back. Today I plan to take down wheel ne have a look and tighten any bolts there. Bike is pretty new – ridden around 800 km this year – bought lst year around october. Everything else is firm and components are xt/fox factory – so its not decathlon bike. Can somebody comment on my problem please? I hope its not bearings in rear hub. Thanks

Yes sounds like the bearing need to be looked at. Pull the wheel out and see if the axel can be tightened
You likely need to replace the bearings in the hub. If it’s been a few years it’s time to replace them for sure.
This requires bearing extractors if you want to do it properly.
