Join us on a peaceful bike trip through Sigulda, one of Latvia’s greenest and most scenic towns! 🚴‍♂️🌳

After a short train ride from Riga, we explore Sigulda by bike — cycling through quiet streets, narrow bike lanes, and forested areas. While the wind makes it challenging at times and the bike paths aren’t always smooth, the beauty of the surrounding nature, the sound of birds, and the calm atmosphere make the ride worth it.

Along the way, we pass through residential areas hidden in greenery, visit Sigulda Castle, and enjoy peaceful moments near churches and scenic viewpoints. Although we hoped to see a nearby waterfall, the path wasn’t suitable for bikes — so we turned back and stayed on our planned route.

If you’re into slow travel, cycling trips, or want a glimpse of what it’s like to bike through a Latvian town, this video is for you.
