Vienna – Innsbruck. 520km. Is this the optimal route for someone who wants to immerse into nature and landscapes? I'm OK to extend the distance up to 700-800km, I'm fairly fit too, so climbing 7-9km is not much of a problem. Riding off road is also ok up to a certain point. I plan on camping mostly, taking couple of nights in hotels. Any advice on the route? Salzburg would be nice to see but not a must.
