I am pretty new to this so I wanted to ask if this was a good deal. The seller accepted my offer of 500 and said this was the 2020 model. I was wondering if this was a fair price? I was also looking at the poseidon x gen 2 for 625 and wanted to ask which would be a better choice? Thanks!

My opinion only here…… The Trek is a road bike and only that. The geometry is setup to be a fast bike(haha). The Poseidon X is a more gravel specific bike that has much larger tires, slacker geometry and is designed to go more places(on and off road) more comfortably. They are not at all in the same category. You should ask yourself what do you want to do with the bike.
Its not a bad deal, but ita not a good deal either. I feel lile $350-400 is probably more apropriate given the spec. The mixed sora and claris makes me think something happened to the bike, possibly a crash. I’d stay away from the wheelset that he says he has, tubular rims are absolutely horrible for the average rider. I used to ride a set of tubular carbon wheels and it seemed like i got a flat tire every day. You cant replace the tube without doing a ton of sewing, and then you cant (technically you can but theres nothing holding the tire on except air pressure) ride for 24 hours while you wait on the glue to dry…
