Riding 200 miles from WALES to ENGLAND… Bikepacking!!

To celebrate the big Liverpool FC parade, we decided to take on an epic 3-day bikepacking journey from Cardiff all the way to Liverpool. No trains, no shortcuts—just us, our bikes, and the open road.

In Day One, we kick things off in Cardiff and start our push north through the hills and countryside of Wales. From flat tires to beautiful scenery, it’s all here.

can i ride this bike from cardiff to liverpool for the liverpool parade of the 20th liverpool title remy is going to be joining us on a trip let’s see if we can get it on time for the parade let’s go come on right lads for the bike i’ll be taking the new gen 345 all packed up with my tent sleeping bag and as you can see a monster backpack that weighs around 30 to 35 kg and i know some of you guys are going to be like “oh it’s electric.” but trust me it’ll still be challenging stick around and you’ll find out
all right let’s go first pedal let’s get this leaving cardiff bay behind us and liverpool we go come on the sd card in my 360 camera is corrupted it’s not been a great start so we’re going to be making our way to argos and grab a couple of sd cards just in case we need them all right we’re in argos trying to get some sd cards hopefully inshallah we get some sd cards there oh bad news bro it’s a collection point so you got to order it and wait a couple of days and then you got to come collect it so we need to find something else now i should have some sd cards let’s go all right take two lads hopefully no more stops let’s get it off to liverpool for royal vista now this is the main goal from the bay of cardiff to the maisy of liverpool and this journey is approximately 200 mi that’s 322 km and we’re giving oursel three days to get it done so wish us luck
all right we’re just on the outskirt of cardiff now we’ve just left cardiff but we’re going to pull in some good miles and i’ll catch you guys in 10 here’s the plan of a trip for day one step one ride 20 m from cardiff to take step two find somewhere to eat and recharge our batteries step three find fresh water from a spring step four when you find a best view stop and take it in step five find and pet a car step six last but not least get to the campsite and set up camp eat some food and sleep as we go again for day two the next day 7 milesi into our journey and we’re still along the taff this is the view wow don’t want to end up in the river do we this is our first bit of b- road it’s our first 10 miles in nearly 60 miles oh rey’s disappeared [Music] this is the first wheel off don’t know what m is taking so hey keep on going it’s our first stop of the day frankies and benny’s got the bikes here going to get some food see what rey’s going to say we’re going to see if we can charge our bikes as well we can charge our bikes let’s go the manager is allowing us to have our bikes inside oh thank you so much thank you thank you so much let’s [Music] see if we can reverse this out here little reverse job in it no looking forward to this backpack on my back big boy let’s go kickstand this guy always forget to get rid of his kickstand when he’s off look at him always leave the kickstand on have to remind him all the time

no it’s still on you still got it on right now we’re off on the second part of the journey the second 30 mi let’s go we got 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of us of cycling we’re going to try and get it done in 2 hours the people in these restaurant were so kind allowed us to charge our battery back to 100% [Music] we’re coming up to the hillest part of the journey so far this is uh better let’s keep going remy’s been hammering it on my way there [Music] this is some tight spot try and get i usually love a tight spot but

take care guys no worries thank you um then we nearly [ __ ] died back on back on the road after a quick fresh mineral water but we going down there i was going to say but i was like is it and i saw it at the bottom i was like can this is lovely i like this it’s a bit more open nice and relaxed got some horses on the back
flat oh we got a mountain to climb now lads let’s get going come on lads i’m not going to lie though i’m loving the scenery no noise no nothing around here just bird chirping fresh air as you see fresh water from the stream care less nearly at the end of the mountain mountain cliff hill whatever you want to call it and guess what we’re at the reservoir the view is going to be mental whatever the [ __ ] is over that wall get this [ __ ] bag off yeah yo

this hill has killed me and the bike don’t want to assist me at all
i’m starting to love up hills you know you see that
oh doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon let’s go it was so amazing yeah i couldn’t see the sky but the [ __ ] hill was like that it was all straight up like this my bike gave up i was going 3 m an hour
and you can hear the motor struggling i was like i don’t want to burn the motor i’m going to get off and push woo look there’s another one ahead of us i thought it was done i thought was done all right there’s another massive hill up there guys we’re going to tackle that it’s going to be a crazy one all right maybe we’ll catch you guys at the camp if anything comes up i’ll shot you man i’m starting off hills you know
i have a feeling that we got up the mountain we got up this hill i don’t know if you can see that behind us it’s a it’s a big one and i feel like the view there is going to be amazing oh yeah the way remy is smiling i can tell the view is going to be crazy look at the shoe looking at him oh yes don’t say that too soon mate
i’m starting love up hills you know after every uphill there’s a good downhill let’s go slow up yes oh i know remy you could be oh there he is again oh this is amazing [Music] meanwhile [Music] let’s get rey’s reaction after this crazy ass down here when i tell you that’s the most amazing part of it no i [ __ ] myself at one point down that hill bro i was full rock break and it was not stopping not stopping and it was not stopping when i hear you grabbing them like that and it nothing i was literally like “all right [ __ ] i’m going to have to skid this out there’s a bad thing down the way or at the bottom it levels out.” boom

there was one point there was that big bump my my front wheel went up yeah and i twisted it went up in the air bro my my whole bike went in there

no [Music] all it’s time for us to go time to go you have your fun man came across a big flipping tractor now we got to go back around [Music] all right we’re going to feel well under the rain has started a little bit so we had to get a coat out coat on remy’s pedal’s gone loose we’ve got about 6 milesi left so let’s try and saw his pedal and get there as quick as possible set up our tent and get in the dry hopefully let’s go of course our final five miles started raining so i got my bag cover on but with the back cover i can’t put this in there i got to carry this remy’s got a loose pedal so trying to get there as quick and we don’t want to be setting up a cam when it’s smashing it down but it’s still all right now we want to get there at the same time as we can see you guys all right looks like we’re here guys that looks like it we find an entrance we made it comes really late huh yeah sorry we’re a bit later we had a few mishaps and the rain started
it’s all right it’s okay so where have you come from now we’re on our way to liverpool
i’ve got a stupid idea so how’s your bums at the moment nice what a big 65 miles that was today man let’s get set up just got to set these tents up [Music] the time is now 9:28 we just got here to set up our tent this is rey’s tent what are we saying he’s got a gaff that’s a that’s a castle that is mate

garden but we’re going to start heading out to go get some food in the hay festival and i’m not going to lie i don’t want to ride this bike any longer today we’re going to pack up and get ready to head to get some food uh we’ll see you when we get some food coming to the festival to go see if we can get some food we’re going to have to lock our bike here
