Ive tried finding info on what exactly is different with the “shorty” geos but cant seem to find exact info out there, I recently brought a Killian Roth I know it has a much shorter quick response but that’s about it, would like to know more. Ive brought a 21.25 as ive already got a 20.50 complete so wanted a street setup on my new 21.25 shorty being a cult custom complete. Any responses and upvotes would be much appreciated

  1. Here’s what I see when I read the specs. 13″ is still pretty short when it comes to a chainstay, I think my Deco is like a 13.25, and my Subrosa is a 12.75. What’s interesting is they seem to have changed the geo on the bike by tilting the seatpost back a degree- it’s a 70 vs a 71, which I don’t remember the last time I saw not a 71. The head tube is also pretty steep at 75.5- I don’t think i’d ever ride it unless I was trying to build a flatland bike.

TLDR? they’ve traded a few different angles and a short chainstay to make a bike that’s pretty much got the same wheelbase as my small bike despite having almost an inch longer TT.

From what I can find, the Killian Roth is the same frame geo, just the sig colorway.

frame colors have gotten ugly recently. Cost cutting it seems. Prices have also gone up. I guess it’s inflation doing its job.
