I bought a 2013 Norco Sight Killer B-1 and I just wanted to ask about servicing the dropper post, and identifying which model it is for me.
I live on an island in the middle of nowhere, and Canada Post is making shipping bike parts complicated for me. I’d just like to make sure I’m not missing anything before I wait 2 weeks for shipping this summer.
I need to change the hydraulic cable because it kinked, and add new fluid and bleed the system. If I knew which model post it is, I’d also order the full service kit and change the seals just for the peace of mind. Other than that, would there anything else I’d need for the job?
Thanks.

These seat posts were bad 10 years ago. Save yourself some time and headache and just replace the whole post with a OneUp or similar.
Replace it. My LBS stopped servicing these years ago because they’re such a pain. They instead offer to send it to Rock Shox for service and the cost is far more than a new dropper
Idk about servicing, the reverbs are a nightmare and hated for very good reason, I’d say just get a pnw loam or a oneup v2 , both are great options and have a lever you can buy cheap
Fak dat dropper post! Ditch it!
There’s a serial number in the seatpost. Get it…and put it in to this site

Aw man, I remember servicing these. These take longer to service than a fork damper. It took me around an hour and a half to service these Reverbs. It wasn’t bad, just tedious.
