I wouldn’t recommend this, unless you like older bikes. You can get a newer bike with better specs for a similar price.

I think that’s a good price, depending on if it needs any work. It’s a quality bike, very well made, with good parts and nice lugged CrMo frame. I’ve seen a couple similar vintage Sirrus pop up for sale at around the same price and would have probably purchased if they were in my size.

For $80? Hell yeah. I have the same bike and it rides nice. I bought it for $100 a decade ago. Mine has shifters on the downtube. I don’t know why these are on the bar ends. I did 2 sprint triathalons on it last year and it worked fine. Obviously can’t compare it to a modern bike but unless you double your budget, probably not going to do much better.
