Finally looking to get a semi-decent gravel/hybrid bike for mixed terrain usage (don’t like drop bar). I’ve narrowed it down to two bikes which are available new locally for about the same price of
£1000. I don’t know too much so looking for some advice here! The bikes:

Does anyone have experience / knowledge with either of these and which would be a better deal for the £1000 price point? I was only able to test ride the Marin DSX which I did enjoy, the specialized would be a blind purchase.
