Going for a classic look with budget parts + EDS Wheeltop GEX groupset.

After 4 months of gravel riding, I’ve decided I love it and I’m willing to invest more. My usual routes always include singletrack, rocky climbs, and descents. I’m now craving more comfort and performance. Planning to build a second gravel bike—this time with a carbon frame. I’m considering a RockShox Rudy up front and/or a Redshift seatpost.

Anyone here gone this route? Is the jump to carbon worth it for rougher terrain? Will it help with neck pain during rides? 😅
