I have a road bike and a mountain bike which I regularly ride. I’ve never ridden or owned a fixed gear bike, but I’d like to buy a used one to ride on casual short rides. This Fuji declaration has been for sale for a few days, listed at $200. The seller does not have any marketplace history. Is this market price for this bike, is it priced high, or is it so low that it may be a scam? Would you buy this?

I mean, what’s a new declaration really going for new these days? if you find a holdover from a previous year, and a good sale maybe 350-400$ tops? And that comes w warranty and all the other little bits and pieces.

Deceleration is an overbuilt starter, nothing tremendous but also nothing to go wrong. Probably more like a 100-150$ bike though, and that’s assuming full functionality of everything and it being pretty clean (which this seems to be).

If you bought this, I still wouldn’t say you got damaged in any way assuming it’s solid. Better than the deals on used bikes at my LBS and that’s really what you’re trying to do. You’re definitely losing on the resell if you don’t like it however

**edit** yeah a few vendors have the 2021 models on sale for the 390 range rn, unless you can’t live without it I would pass on this listing.
