Greetings everyone,I have a 1950s Murray 26 inch frame and would like to remove the one piece crank but I am not sure what tool is used to remove this circular cone nut thing thanks
That’s just a washer, the tab is probably jammed in the slot of the threads on the crank. Use a flathead screwdriver to get the tab lined up and then pry it off.

You need a Pin Spanner like the Park Tool SPA-1 or the HCW-4 but the first thing you need to do is measure the distance between the two ends of the half circle and the slot size with a micrometer to find out the pin tool size you need.
